A person born in Hawaii on or after August 12, 1898, and before April 30, 1900, is declared to be a citizen of the United States as of April 30, 1900. A person born in Hawaii on or after April 30, 1900, is a citizen of the United States at birth. A person who was a citizen of the Republic of Hawaii on August 12, 1898, is declared to be a citizen of the United States as of April 30, 1900.
As long as Barack was born in Hawaii, the fact that his biological father was Kenyan is irrelevant. So why hide the Birth Certificate?

since the article brought it up, I’ll throw in the latest that I’ve seen - many myths floating around, but maybe a few occasional fact nuggets - much need for vetting, I think. Anyway, one is the speculation that BHO’s mother actually gave birth while still overseas, then returned to Hawaii as soon as possible and had his birth certificate reflect accordingly.
Just sayin’ :-))) One way or the other, wouldn’t you THINK that any and all pertinent facts could and should be verified about whomever will be elected to lead the most powerful nation on earth?

Oh, I think there’s no longer dispute about the father being listed as muslim on the certificate. The dicey issue would be about BHO’s true PLACE of birth.

That’s just a computer printout, it’s not the original birth certificate. I know that my own (from another state), just 2 years before Obambi’s, looks very different from that and has details of both parents’ occupations and places of birth that do not appear on this form. Obama needs to cough up the original BC so we can see what he’s hiding.

The only relevant question is if there’s any truth to the rumor that his mother wasn’t allowed on the plane to Hawaii until after his birth.

And the stuff I’d seen about the birth cert (which “officially” has indeed been released) is that it was a second, false one generated in Hawaii, the real one was in Africa, while his mother was still there - that’s the story going around, at least - we don’t know yet (and may never know) what the truth is. Certainly don’t look to the “journalists” of the MSM to bother digging up the facts.

Please don't post any more about his citizenship. He is a legal citizen of the U.S. and is legally eligible for the Presidency.
I would prefer that we go after Obama for his political beliefs, and not chase this dead end any more. It makes us look like we're tinfoil hat types, barking up the wrong tree.
That said, it's a free country, and a FreeRepublic, and I'm not telling you you can't post this stuff over and over. I'm just sayin', there's more important work to be done, IMO.
The practice of printing a baby’s footprints on a birth certificate is not sentimental. It’s for ID. Hospitals make two copies of the prints, and gussy up one for you to scrapbook.
All Obama has to do is ask (whichever hospital in Honolulu) for his original since he was born there, right?.

I believe there are at least 2 possible reasons for this:
1.) Obama was born under the name "Barack Hussein Mohammed Obama," "Barack Mohammed Hussein Obama," or something of that nature. Regardless, there may be a Mohammed in there somewhere.
2.) Obama was born under a name different from Barack Hussein to a normal name given by his mother. He or someone in his family may have changed his name during his Indonesian Muslim days to "fit in" with his fellow Mohammeds at the mosque/madrassa/whatever.
Either way, Obama is a pathological liar and that birth certificate will never, EVER be available to the public.
Obama knows about the justifiable anger that many Americans have toward the Mohammedans in a post September 11, 2001 world.
That is why the lying worm hides his birth certificate.
His entire life is one gigantic deception, and it starts with his birth certificate.

You, me, and 98% of everybody we know can say who our attending physician was at our birth. And we can quote anecdotes about him/her and the delivery from our mothers and grandmothers, nightmare situations, funny moments.

But the thread, Jim's "marginally", and my own belief are that this road will NOT take us to victory in November. It is a distraction, and a rather unproductive one.

If we keep siphoning energy into these dead-end distractions, we will not concentrate on the things that can actually defeat him, and thereby guarantee four -- or eight! -- years of Obamanation.

I now the circumstances of my birth and funny stories to go along. AND the name of the doctor who delivered me. He was in church (long before cell phones) and it was Father’s Day......he got to the hospital in time, barely.
I have to agree with you on those points.....both are U.S. citizens. Silly to fuss over that.
While it may be a distraction for us, it's also a distraction for Obama. Actually I'm not distracted by this at all...just entertained. Obama's the one who has to swat at all these gnats flying about.
Perhaps a finer point would be if he held dual-citizenship, as did a friend of mine who was born of two U.S. citizens while they were stationed in the Philippines, but never gave up the other country. Whatever the legal ramifications, it might be embarrassing to have forgotten to renounce the other country before running for president.
What about a baby who has a foreign dad who ALSO registered the birth in Kenya? Hmmm?

I for one am NOT convinced that he is a natural born citizen. The birth certificate and how it was dispersed through a left wing blog rather his own website is suspectd.
Secondly, there are date stamps on the document that needs explanation.
Third, why is the serial number blocked out?
Forth, where was he born exactly, which hospital?
Surely there are records there that will convince the nay sayers like me.
Fifth,it’s been reported here that he was born in Kenya and there are records there of his birth.
Finally, if someone was doubting my birth, paper would be flowing. Not only my birth certificate but hospital records, baby pictures, etc.

Michelle’s “whitey” tape, if it exists, is anything but a distraction. It has a direct bearing on the character and beliefs of the person who’s putting himself forward as the next President. There is no way that Obama can distance himself from her, as he has tried to do from all his other associates when their true views were revealed.

They need to release the BC with the state seal on it.
What you linked to is a proof of live birth and could have been made in a print shop.
The fact they are hiding it reveals alot.

Because the document would clearly show the parents weren't wed.
