why do gods need a rooster? Why don’t they just make their own roosters if they are gods? Or just buy some Campbell’s Chicken Noodle Soup?

Everything I ever knew about Santeria I learned on an episode of CSI: Miami.
(Seriously, I try to avoid television when I’m not at work, but a nice Emily Procter-Eva LaRue sandwich in a hot tub or on South Beach would be just great. Anyone that can arrange this sort of thing, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.)

If I’m ever a god and someone sacrifices a rooster to me, I’m getting the smite stick ready. If I were a god I'd look favorably upon a sacrifice of a bacon cheeseburger. Or a fine single malt. I'd entertain the idea of bestowing favor for a fine single malt.
