You are from United States |
I really do not give a rat’s arse on what the world thinks! If they want Obama so bad they can have him, and good ridense too!
A very interesting project to follow... no surpries here at all folks — What say you?
David
86% of the world is out of their freakin’ minds.
If the rest of the world wants to go down the tubes, that’s their business.....they shouldn’t expect America to go and join them.
Then make him King of the Rest of the World.
We’ll pass.
LOL -— I hear you my FRiend.. just posting this for dialogue.... the data is not at all shocking to me ... it will be interesting to see if this project gets any traction and what the numbers will show... Not that Americans should care at all what the world thinks... just a topic for discussion my FRiend..
At least the Israelis and the Kiwis have their heads screwed on correctly.
LOL
SO FAR, the Supreme Court has not ruled that the whole world can vote in United States elections. Think about that when you vote for the person likely to make the next Supreme Court appointments.
a.) Who cares what the rest of the world thinks?
b.) This pretty much confirms what we think about Obama... he is a Marxist that hates America and America haters around the world hope he gets elected.
Well...of course the rest of the world wants an incompetent idiot leading our country. That’s a no brainer.
Just goes to show how slanted CNN is. When you go overseas, the only channel on is CNN.
Which completely re-affirms everything I think about the “rest of the world”.....We fought a war to be free of the opinions of monarchies and dictators.....
“If the World Could Vote”
It can’t. Nor can a random sampling of idiots with internet access. If Niue wants Obama they can have him. I want him behind bars. With no heat or AC.
Also, how many people overseas knows who John McCain is?
Then next question is, Name one thing that Obama has done.
In fact, even within that population I seriously doubt if the majority could even name McCain unaided or describe a single one of his prospective policies. A significant portion of the American electorate is similarly ignorant. The unfortunate part is that the latter vote.
Interesting, New Zealand seems to have more sense than we do.
But they can't, so we really don't care what they think.
I agree with you on this, but they would expect America to come & bail them out & save them, from themselves...
Half the people from Brazil liked McCain.
What’s up with that? (Only 2 voters?)
Well, since 54% of the world are not democracies, they don’t get to vote.
Hmm, lets get some other silly stats...
97% of people at NASCAR events that are drinking Busch Lite are voting for McCAin.
How about 93% of left handed coal miners who like easy listening music are vboting for Obama.
Has about as much weight as the “If the world could vote...”
The UN would love to be in charge of American politics. In reality they almost are already. They are behind the scenes working hard for world rule and socialism.
Who gives a rats ass what the world thinks about our election?? We are voting and you the world isn’t voting har har har!!!
Only one person was negative.
And if my aunt had.....
Gosh, only under 3800 votes worldwide?? Now thats scientific!
If the World Could Vote -- As of right now -- 86% of the WORLD would prefer the Antichrist. I am not stating that there is a direct correlation between the two...
Well, thank God they can’t. Yet. Give the Dhimms a few terms in power.
Completely stupid. All you have to do is look at the United States 83% for Obama to know that it’s a poll for liberal hippies.
As an aside, a news network that makes it’s own stories is nothing but a tool.
New Zealand is interesting.......63 percent for McCain.
However, this is not realistic. Obama will not win the United States with 80 percent of the vote as this poll would indicate.
I had a friend from Brazil....nice guy, but hated Bush.
I found that very odd myself. Brazil is very liberal.
Colombia!?
Talk about suicidal.
I clicked the link, and it says “Your vote has been cast. Thank you..” How nice of them to do it for me. Over 3900 people have “voted”. Wow.
OK FREEPERS & PJ COMIX Fans, Many of you know I work with Soldiers Angels by adopting soldiers and sending them letters, emails and care packages. I got an email request from a member of the group who is in Northern CA and trying to help a Navy vet. Please take a minute to read it and if you can help out a little, that would be great. -———————————
I need your help. I am in Northern California and have been trying to help one of our vets, Chris and his fiancé Rhonda get back on the their feet. They are new arrivals to San Diego as of March 2008 and are homeless, jobless, without money, etc. We have had them in several shelters, they’ve spent in the park, they stayed at a friend of Valerie’s house (she has been the one doing so much for them through Access to Independence), they are now “camping out” at the airport. I wired them $100 last Friday so they could buy food.
Chris has been in the Navy, as a nuclear weapons technician, for 15 years ending in May 2005 when his active duty service ended and he completed his Bachelors degree in Science and Engineering (through the Navy) and a Jurist Doctorate (on his own).
He thought he could make a go of it in civilian life, but changed his mind and tried to get back into the Navy, but they no longer needed him because his job was obsolete. In turn he joined the Army in 2006 but his symptoms of being Bipolar got progressively worse. Due to his illness the Army would not take him. He has served two tours in Iraq (2002 and 2003) both on the ship and on the ground as an ammunition accountant (after his job as a nuclear weapons technician was phased out and eliminated). He is also a recipient of two bronze stars.
I would like to know if any of our Angels could help Chris and Rhonda? Do you have a room for rent or know of someone that might? They are both looking for work. They are using a phone line I set up here at my work as their phone number on applications and Access to Independence is letting them use their address in San Diego on University Ave. Valerie has set them up with bus passes, is working on getting them food stamps, has Chris working with an attorney and so on. But unfortunately all this takes time and in the interim they are still homeless and without money. Would any of you be willing to help them financially? Do you know of any job openings we could help them get? I am looking for anything you can do for them? I am 7 hours away and can only do so much.
Please let me know. If I could come up with approx. $600 I could probably get them started in a studio somewhere so at least they could shower and get some proper rest in order to job hunt.
I did not want to post her contact info on an open forum w/o permission, so if you can help please freepmail me for the address.
Thank you so much for all you do for our vets. It is most appreciated.
It’s a very interesting post. I like seeing Israel voting for McCain. New Zealand is interesting, I thought they were pretty left.
BTTT
It’s still early...
Uh-huh, sure.
What an asinine project. Means nothing.
The link I posted was the “VIEW RESULTS” link.. I assume if you go to the ROOT LINK..
http://iftheworldcouldvote.com/
you should be able to vote.. not exactly sure how the site controls multiple votes.. but as far as I know the website is pretty new so I will check it periodicly to track how many folks participate...
Whenever I went to Asia CNN Intern was on in every bar and hotel.
Those would be interesting polls too.
Barack Obama 86.6% (3403 votes)
John McCain 13.4% (525 votes)
Total number of votes: 3928
Countries voted from: 56
The only interesting thing I see in this internet poll is the breakdown of what country (assuming by IP address) the vote is cast from...
I would say that a majority of the world knows when they see a bad prospect for the United States. They would love to see us elect someone who will send us down the river.
Cuba Obama 100% McCain 0%
Venezuela Obama 100% McCain 0%
Iran Obama 100% McCain 0%
Syria Obama 100% McCain 0%
N. Korea Obama 100% McCain 0%
a very good point for discussion... is it in our Nations best intrest to be influenced by what the rest of the world wants us to do.. I say NO WAY !!! Just my 2 cents worth
