Hard to believe that it was sold on DVD and freely downloaded, but now there are no copies.
In the last description she was talking about hurricane Katrina but this is before Katrina. And then there was Farrakhan, now its Farrakan’s wife but where’s Farrakhan’s wife in this description? And then there was “why’d he?” and “whitey”. I hope it’s true, but I’m not buying it, too many inconsistencies, I think people are just making stuff up.

Just a few months short of 10 years with FR, I’ve been down this path before ... several times. Speculation over some half baked rumor that almost never pan out.
The only “details” about the tape I want.
1) When is it going to play?
2) Where can I see it?
Until those two minor ‘details’ are filled in the rest is just so much dancing without the music.

Anyone can make up a story, but this does seem to have a lot of details that have a ring of truth to them. I’m extremely surprised that Sean Hannity denies having the tape, given the fact that he and people associated with him have been doing opposition research on Obama for at least a year. Hopefully it is a Clintonoid denial, “Ah do not have a copy of that tape of,...Mrs. Obama.” Or maybe it’s not a tape, it’s a file? Or a DVD?
I’ll be extremely disappointed if the recording doesn’t surface. People always say there couldn’t be conspiracies or cover ups because so many people would have to keep quiet. But I can imagine Obama’s church could circle the wagons like this. It isn’t like the average person would download it for entertainment. Only a political pundit or a true dyed in the wool whitey hater would download it.
My bet is on this all being misinformation. If it was out there, Hillary would have used it already.

I hadn't heard this little detail before.
The "tape" is a DVD that Trinity United sold on its website, and possibly offered free for download up until March 2008 when Trinity's site was scrubbed and the DVDs were no longer offered for sale.
VaporTape? No one has ever seen it.
I guess it was up to the UN to do something also, but I still blame Bill.
If this is true and Clinton has seen it, it might explain some of Bill's comments over the past few weeks/months.

I have no doubt that she believes such things - only question is whether she was dumb enough to rant that way in a (semi)public forum that was being taped. Did she know she was on camera? Seems unlikely that she would not know. If the dates are correct this would be during Barack’s campaign for US Senate but before his big address to the DNC and before anyone outside of Chicago really knew about them. It is quite possible that she was just not yet used to the idea of curbing her remarks for the national spotlight. This does sound like the way plenty of leftist academics and activists talk - just read Chomsky or any of his disciples for plenty of examples of the most hateful anti-American bile.
I have no trouble believing she may have been this careless, especially before such a friendly audience and before Barack had really been in any national spotlight. I just hope the tape/DVD really exists and that it will surface, preferably in October!!

NRO, the Corner, says that the tape, if it exists, is of a conference for the Rainbow Push coalition where, Michelle Obama was a guest of the women of the conference, along with Farrakhan’s wife.
The HillBuzz description of the tape still raises a few questions, though. They say, “The Michelle Obama Rant Tape was filmed between June 26th - July 1st 2004 in Chicago, IL at the Rainbow/PUSH Coalition Conference at Trinity United Church”, but the Rainbow/PUSH event in 2004 was held at the Sheraton, not Trinity United; did the church cosponsor it or something?
