Professor Hans Michels, an explosives expert at Imperial College London, said TATP was mainly used as an initiator or "trigger explosive" to detonate a larger main charge.

Would, perhaps, a nuclear reactor suffice as a "main charge"?

Anyway, the reports so far have mentioned nothing except that the two men detained were born 1964 and 1955 and that they are employed by a sub-contractor performing maintenance at the plant. It was also noted that one was previously known by the police and that both had been cleared beforehand by the Swedish security police, as is routine for persons working at nuclear power stations.

The question everyone is asking is, still, unanswered...
