5 YR AMNESTY ATTACHED TO WAR FUNDING BILL BY Sen. Diane Feinstein (D-CA)

TRAVESTY Disastrous Ag Jobs Amnesty Attached to Iraq Funding Bill! Millions of Illegal Aliens and Their Families to Get 5-Year Amnesty! The pro-amnesty coalition is once again attempting to force another illegal alien amnesty onto America. Sen. Feinstein sponsored a proposal to grant a 5-year amnesty for up to 3 million illegal aliens and their families into the Iraq War supplemental bill. Knowing that the war funding bill is desperately needed to support our troops in battle overseas, the amnesty plan was attached covertly in attempts that no one would notice.

The open-borders champions hope that the longer illegal aliens stay the more difficult it will ever be to deny them U.S. citizenship. If it passes, this would open the door for even larger waves of illegal immigration in the future! What Is YOUR Opinion? VOTE IN OUR INSTANT POLL STOP New Illegal Alien Amnesty orI Favor Illegal Alien Amnesties Join with 626,616 citizens who make their voices heard through NumbersUSA, America's largest-member immigration-reduction organization.

Yet another reason to support the line-item veto.

This woman needs to go and right now. She is an idiot from the word go and is a traitor to the US and has allowed her to become rich with she and her husband’s dirty dealings with China.

The line item veto was ruled unconstitutional over 10 years ago. A constitutional amendment would be required to allow that.

I agree. I didn’t see it posted on FR, although I may have missed it...but I didn’t get email from Townhall.com until today. There is place to vote as protest at townhall...I’ll try to copy from my email for a hit to save time.

Five years is FULL amnesty. If an alien is in the country legally, i.e. a work visa for five years they are eligable under immigration law to apply for naturalization (citizenship).

General Naturalization Requirements

Age
Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
Refer to the section, Naturalized Citizen's Children under Waivers, Exceptions, and Special Cases for information on applicants who are less than 18 years old.
See Also INA 334

Residency
An applicant must have been lawfully admitted to the United States for permanent residence. Lawfully admitted for permanent residence means having been legally accorded the privilege of residing permanently in the United States as an immigrant in accordance with the immigration laws. Individuals who have been lawfully admitted as permanent residents will be asked to produce an I-551, Alien Registration Receipt Card, as proof of their status.

See Also INA 316

Residence and Physical Presence

An applicant is eligible to file if, immediately preceding the filing of the application, he or she:

has been lawfully admitted for permanent residence (see preceding section);
has resided continuously as a lawful permanent resident in the U.S. for at least 5 years prior to filing with no single absence from the United States of more than one year;
has been physically present in the United States for at least 30 months out of the previous five years (absences of more than six months but less than one year shall disrupt the applicant's continuity of residence unless the applicant can establish that he or she did not abandon his or her residence during such period)
has resided within a state or district for at least three months

Amnesty IS going to happen. Bush, McCain, Obama...all would rung over their own grannies with a monster truck to sign this. Not ONE of them would have the guts to even mention the amnesty portion, they’d all use the troops as convenient cover.

So Feinswine is attempting to hold our military hostage so she can get amnesty for illegals working the huge corporate farms in CA. That is beneath contempt. She needs to be tarred and feathered for this treasonous deception.
Yes, I will contact my Senators and tell them that.

True, but we don’t have to make it easy. The problem is that news travels fast, and if they do pass it..it causes more illegals to come so they can get theirs...to slow it down is better than nothing. I live in a county with over 27,000 mexican ag workers/illegals...so think what will happen when it passes...all their friends and relatives will be on their way. We can’t afford these w/ healthcare, crime and waste.

Perhaps our own military should launch an all-out “shock and awe” attack on Washington and seize control of the government. They couldn’t be any worse than the aholes in the two major political parties.

Amnesty is inevitable with current GOP and Democratic leadership.

There is no separate GOP leadership. The parties are one in the same and the goal of all the "leaders" is identical, stay in power and increase their own personal wealth. With 20+ million new, uneducated, government dependent voters the GOP will no longer be a factor in national elections. I don't think the Republican "leaders" really care as long as they can get their piece of the pie. This is what globalism is all about, eliminate party or even national loyalties and replace them with fealty to the rulers. Our Democrat and Republican "leaders" want to be those rulers.

I just called John Cornyn’s office, told the staffer that I was fiercely opposed to AGJOBS. The staffer said Cornyn is opposed to it, that they removed AGJOBS from the bill, it apparently just happened. I hope that is true, but they will be back to sneak it in when they think we are not watching.
