Having previously urged readers to vote in Hasbro's Monopoly Here and Now World Edition competition to select cities around the world for the World Edition game board, I must now follow up with that post to report that Hasbro has gone the way of political correctness or kowtowing to the arab lobby/boycott by removing "Israel" as the country in which Jerusalem is found.

So despicable, so cowardly. Hasbro needs to be boycotted.

e-mail i sent to Brazen:

“Bowing to the Arab lobby and removing Israel on the world monopoly edition as the Country in which Jerusalem is found is absolutely appalling. Be sure that more money will be spent on Hasbro products by Jewish and Christian families then Muslim. I would fear a boycott of Jewish and Christian families more then that of Arab/Muslim families. Perhaps a Chance card could be produced depicting a Homicide bomber with the phrase “Go Directly to Jail - do not pass go, do not visit your 100 virgins” Be sure that my money and the money of every person I can convince, will be spent on other games made by other companies.”

PARKER BROTHERS reponse to my e-mail:

“Parker Brothers, the makers of board game Monopoly has embarked upon an exercise to find the world’s most popular cities as voted for by the public. It was never our intention to print any countries on the final boards and any online tags were merely used as a geographic reference to help with city selection. This is clearly stated in the terms and conditions of our campaign.

We would never want to enter into any political debate. We apologise for any upset this has caused our Monopoly fans and hope that they continue to support their favourite cities, all of which are deserving of a place on our final board - Monopoly Here and Now : The World Edition which will be released in Autumn 2008. The 20 pre-selected cities with the highest worldwide votes on February 29 2008 will make it onto the board. Plus voters will have from February 29 to March 9 2008 to vote on the most nominated Wildcard cities. Only the top two will make it on the board.

All country tags are currently being removed from the websites (there are 37 translations and it takes a while) – cities will only be represented by their common name as they will appear on the board. I hope this does not stop you from supporting Jerusalem a very worthy and wonderful city.”

it seems, however, they have only found the time to remove Israel as of this morning.

Wow. This is horrible. I was voting as much as I could for precisely this reason; I wanted Jersualem, Israel on the board so the world could see it as a part of Israel.

The continued cowardice of the CEO’s of this country shows the lack of faith in decency and the success the liberals had in brainwashing the minds of millions of children back in the 60’s, to bend in the wind of surrender to fools and murders.

No surprise here. Practically no one but "religious fanatics" (and a few Jewish liberals living off the inertia of their religious heritage) consider Jerusalem to be the capital of Israel, and most want it internationalized, including the UN, the Vatican, and (I'm sure) "our" own State Department.

There needs to be a revolution in Israel. Then it won't matter if the rest of the world doesn't want to consider Jerusalem to be in Israel.

Maybe a Monopoly board with the Mount of Olives at the center of the board - right where you fold it in half to put it in the box. At the end of the game the whole game board rips in half, right down the middle of the Mt of Olives

Zechariah 14:3-4 Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south

They should remove USA as the country of New York City. The ancestors of European imperialists have less claim to it than the Jews have for Jerusalem.
