Jody Klein of Centralia, Wash., about two hours-drive south of Seattle, was near tears as she recounted her Obama experience. At age 20, she'll vote in a presidential election for the first time.

"There's just this amazing excitement that's here," she said. "When he was talking about hope, it actually almost made me cry. Like it really made sense, like, for the first, like, whoa … how important a time this is for us. It was really exciting."

I had a roommate in boarding school who had gone to see Elvis Presley when she was 12 or 13 yrs. old. She touched the fender of his limo when he was leaving the arena after the concert, and she told me over and over with the most idiotic expression on her face how she had not washed her hand for 2 wks. Something tells me these people probably look the same as they tell the tale of their encounter with Obama.

The more I learn about Obama, the more parallels I see between him and Adolf Hitler. Like Hitler Obama is a racist for the same basic reason Hitler was a racist — Obama is half white and Hitler was part Jewish. Hitler’s speeches in the 1920s and early 30’s were of the same emotionalist and irrationalist drivel that is today the standard speech of Obama. By 1932 the Nazi Party of Hitler numbered in the millions and was posed to take over the bureaucracy of the German Republic. The same is true of the Democrat Party today, which like the Nazi Party of Germany in 1932 already has in place a Fifth Column within the Federal Government.

And let us not forget that Hitler was called a “Messiah” by millions of Germans even before he came into power....The same is true of Obama in regards to millions of Americans who call him a “Messiah” and think of him in irrational religious terms.

Finally, I would note that today’s America has many ominous parallels with Germany’s Weimar Republic. The office of President in our Republic like the office of Chancellor in the Weimar Republic offers the ambitious man an excellent opportunity to become dictator.
