What does it say about the poisonous state of our political system when 35% of Democrats believe that an American president knew in advance of a mass-murder, terrorist attack that killed 3000 people, mostly Americans?

I think it says more about the poisonous state of our educational system that people aren’t falling down laughing at such an assertion...and proceeding to lock Democrats out of power for a generation for tacitly supporting it.

I agree, but I wonder if these yahoos who makes the charge (and those who believe it) are the same people who believe that Roosevelt knew of the impending attack on Pearl Harbor and did nothing.

Seems to me every such disaster always has such detractors and conspiracy theorists who make false charges, fantastical leaps, to stain political foes.

I saw that, and had exactly the same reaction as you did. How can one third of even Democrats believe that story? But then, I look at the miserable state of US education, and the miserable state of the US media, and I say, thank God the rot is no worse than that, so Hillary won't become President.
