For most of my adult life I have entertained the fantasy that one day I would hear liberals and Democrats, in large numbers, saying, “You know, you were right. The only way to climb the economic ladder in America is through education, hard work, and determination. I thought that, if we could just take some of the money that the rich and the middle class have and give it to the poor, everyone would be happy.
“I thought that, because of more than two centuries of horrific abuse of African Americans – by Democrats and our KKK allies – we could buy the forgiveness and the allegiance of black people by creating a new welfare plantation for them. I was wrong and conservatives were right. Black people are just as capable of prospering in a free society as everyone else.
“I thought that there were no truly evil people in the world. I thought that people of every culture and every political ideology were basically good, and that if we could just sit down with them and talk out our differences, there would never be any reason for war. But now I know…the only road to peace is through strength…invincible military strength in the hands of free nations.”

They don't live in reality, they live in Utopia. The obvious outcome and failures of communism/socialism are never enough to sway them. Whatever failures there are remain human failures and not system failures in their minds.

Why should a paranoid doubt their sanity, when the MSM and DNC continually tell them that their worst fears are true and that the world really is out to get them?

Liberalism is not a disease, but a religion. True believers take things on faith and facts will not effect their belief system.
Even talking to them is a waste of time.
It's a religion based on instant self gratification. They're always thirsty, but that thirst is never quenched.
I hate the left, but I do think that many people on the fence can be persuaded to change. Sales is based on the idea that you can change people's minds/attitudes. We just need to keep pointing out why what the far left believes is based on a hatred of America, and then many fence-sitters will properly recoil from it.

They'll only continue doing what has worked so nicely for them in the past:

Indoctrinate the young and infest the bureaucracy.
Generally make our elected officials feel all bad.
Then sit back and watch 'conservatives' like our current administration offer more concessions and platitudes to prove that they are really, (honest - really!), nice people after all.
Sadly, conservative politicians need to liked even worse than liberals and they'll crawl farther to accomplish it.
If all incomes of $100,000 and more were taxed at 100%, it would run the gov't 4 days, I heard on Rush one time. Would "solve" everything I hear,,HAH!
I'm not saying all or even necessarily most liberals can be changed, but certainly enough to give us a majority.

There won't be a pill. It's a mental disorder. Sometimes it goes away after the patient is mugged, passed over for job opportunities, fired over trumped-up charges, refused entry into college because of race.
There have been many cases of spectacular recovery.
Keep pointing out how liberal policies keep the underclass down; show them the implicit racism in "affirmative action", minority set-asides, race norming, "hate crime" laws.
