I actually don't get too worked up over leftwing loons because they are a great source for comedic material. However, I absolutely DETEST terrible comedy shows such as the pathetic show Fox News is trying to foist on the public. Therefore, I will soon be posting script segments for my own "Media Circus" comedy show. It is an idea I've had for years. It is about a failing liberal cable news station. The format will be somewhat similar to SCTV only based on the cable news channel.
Let me know if you want on the DUmmie FUnnies PING List.

I gotta agree, it was bad. They should go with more of a conservative talk show format and just let their natural humor shine that way.

Songwriter Charles Henrickson of the Free Republic did a quick B.O. joke way back in December. At least he had the sense to quickly drop it after first use rather than beat it to death like the Fox News "comedy" show did. LOL! So, are you working a side job also?

Don't watch it, not planning on it, not gonna do it, wouldn't be prudent.

Whoops. I liked the YouTube clip. Except: the "BO" magazine crack was juvenile, and the female anchor was way too Jane Curtinish (early SNL).
Barack reaching an "all time low approval rating of 99.9 percent" was a funnny opener.

Okay. Here is my first idea for my proposed "Media Circus" show. The name of the fictitious "Media Circus" cable channel is CCC (Consolidated Cable Channel). There are a variety of hosts, each of whom live in dread of receiving a pink slip due to slipping ratings. There is also a couple of news anchors, Guy and Dolly, who hate each other and try to hog the camera time to the detriment of the other. Anyway, the beauty of "Media Circus" is that it would take actual news events and satirize them as they happen.
In this segment, Guy and Dolly introduce a news piece about yet another person claiming paternity of Anna Nicole Smith's daughter. When the story is introduced, we see a scene from the movie "Spartacus" where a Roman General asks the defeated slave army to turn over Spartacus so their lives can be spared. However, in the "Media Circus" version, the words, "Who is the father of Anna Nicole Smith's daughter?" is dubbed in. Kirk Douglas steps forward and, dubbed in, says, "I am the father." This is followed by slave after slave stepping up and saying (dubbed in) "I am the father." Soon the whole slave army is saying over and over again, "I AM THE FATHER!"

anyone who listens to Howard knows he's not a racistLOL yah I guess not, relatively speaking, compared to the typical divesity-uber-alles, race-obsessed liberal. Ignore his near-weekly "Kingfish" routines and "yo momma eats pork" baiting of agitated black callers and there's hardly any racism at all.

The thing about liberals is you really don't have to make up stuff about them to mock them. Rush proves that daily. The show was too obviously a knockoff and the anchors lacked the comedic talent to pull it off.
To: PJ-Comix
there aren't many funny Republicans. No, there are plenty of funny Republicans. There are plenty of funny Free Republicans. They're just not writing for this new show.

It wasn't too good, but wasn't that bad either. If that clip is the best they have, they are in trouble. Meanwhile, if Republicans are not funny, then P.J. O'Rourke, Rush, and Dennis Miller are figments of our collective imagination. I don't know how the creators of South Park vote, but they sure do take some good shots at the lib aspects of our culture. Frankly, who on the left is funny when it comes to politics? SNL was at one time, I guess.

"...the joke was designed to make a point that, apparently, black politicians use cocaine. You know, because they're all black and can't be trusted in positions of authority -- what with all their tar baby drug habits. That's racism."
"If Senator Obama was known to have body odor, then the joke would've been funnier. But to my knowledge, he doesn't. Then again, he is a black and they're usually all stinky and black-smelling, aren't they? Seriously, it's a terrible joke."
Well, I contend that people that see racism in EVERYTHING are the true racists. The writer certainly fits the bill.
To: PJ-Comix
Creating effective art requires an open mind and, generally speaking, conservatives tend to have trouble with, you know... the whole open-mindedness thing. This self-delusion of open mindedness of the left is pretty funny. Anytime someone disagrees with liberals they go to every extreme to silence the dissenting opinion. Don't believe me? Check out what happens every time a conservative speaker goes to talk at a university to see just how open minded liberal really are. Liberals really are hypocrites and frequently liars.
