Kimberly Strassel's "If the Cap Fits" (Wall Street Journal) examines the real motives of the Climate Action Partnership (CAP): to get the government to mandate or subsidize the purchase of their products, while rewarding them for implementing existing business plans.

I therefore propose that we refer to the Climate Action Partnership (CAP) as the Corporate Ripoff Association of Profiteers. I leave development of a suitable acronym to the reader.
Albert Gore has certainly raked in plenty of "green" from Earth in the Balance, without even having enough creative talent to write a good science fiction or fantasy novel.
