Why did you name it "Religion of Pieces"? I think it takes away from your message.

Pretty good. Although you probably shouldn't give your real name on the net.
By all looks, comments will be light. This is a good thing. Tube has a lot of lib trolls.

Megadeth is a heavy metal band that was popular in the late 80's and early 90's. Dave Mustaine (The lead singer) used to be with Metallica along time ago. Actually, the song is from 1992. It is called "Symphony Of Destruction"

Windows Movie Maker. Ah, what options did you save it as? Every time I export something out of Premiere, youtube makes it much smaller. If I upload the .mov that came straight out of my Camera, youtube leaves it alone. It's really annoying since I like to edit the videos so they don't suck.
Maybe if i export out of premiere and re-save from WMM. Hmm, may have to try that right now:)

A video I made which briefly chronicles the history of Radical Islam for the fifth anniversary of 9-11. I enjoyed your vid! It shows us getting hit - but it doesn't tell us who you believe we are. Nonetheless, it's inspiring. I'd like to see a film like yours that:
- Defines who we are
- Defines our allies
- Defines our enemy
- Demonstrates how we've been attacked
- Demonstrates how we've retaliated
- Establishes a vision of the future we're fighting and dieing for
In three to five minutes, combined in pictures and short films all set to music... Hollywood is too pretentious to do such a thing. In my opinion Hollywood cannot, if for no other reason than big budgets and big productions distance the artist from the audience. For fiction, thats OK. Phantasmagoric art is designed to be distant, even without a budget. Non-fiction art, on the other hand, requires purity and authenticity that only a struggling artist can give it. The sense of your work reveals the struggle. You reveal the victims' pain and death. That's only part of the story. We are not victims. With the reality of terror used against us, we all struggle. But we are not victims. We will never be victims. We are the masters of our own destiny, no matter how putrid or perfect that may be. Regardless, your work is opening the door to something deeply important.
Great work. Outstanding video!

I could make something based on your outline.
The whole premise of this video was to show the timeline of Islamic terrorism and highlight the atrocities. I think it fulfilled that objective. There is only so much you can do in 4 minutes. In those 4 minutes, I had a good-run through of the history of atrocities. (Highlighting most of the major ones) and just stated the facts and gave dates. The photograph's were set to the music (In substance and rythym) and I have found, this isn't an easy thing to do, but I feel I did it effectively.
A "Vision For The Future", well, I know this didn't have a happy ending, but we haven't had that yet in the real world. The overall tone of the video was dark, but it was meant to show the darker side of Radical Islam.
One more thing, I was trying to avoid the video being perceived as a propaganda piece (It may look that way), all I did was display pictures, facts and dates to music. I think it is a very honest video.
I'll take the ideas you gave me and I'll work on them, when I come up with something I'll give you a ping.
Take Care.

Thanks for the Mustaine link. To be honest, I always loved his music, never knew his politics. He is a great guy. He doesn't seem to want force his views on others. He could set an example to other Artists and Hollywood on how to just "shut up and play (or act)". He prides himself on being an entertainer, first and foremost.

I think it is a very honest video." You've just demonstrated in this single sentence what Americans are fighting and dieing for. The truth will indeed set us all free. Truth will take us to higher ground. We are righteous for our faith in truth! Without truth there can be no justice. You're pursuit of truth (set to your own theme music) among citizens that support every step no mater where it leads us IS real power. From this sentence I now know your perception IS power. Take the lead with your art. So long as your art maintains faith in the truth, the critics of your art will be civilized societys most abhorrent heretics. Damn them!

There is only so much you can do in 4 minutes... True -
American history in pictures and quotes. The point is to establish context for the Global War on Terror. For those in need of it.

Thanks for Kate Smith. It reminds me of my childhood in the 50's when people knew right from wrong.
Here's something I just heard from Wright, author of Leaning Tower on c-span. He says bin Laden was flat broke when he left the Sudan. However, then BJ Clinton send him $1/2b in cruise missles. He sold the unexploded ones to China and Pakistan who reenginered them. God ole BJ, just keeps giving and giving.
