With a little intro explaining the movie and DU, today's DUFU would be a perfect topic for NewsBusters readers.

In DUmmieland...the Legacy Media is right wing, NPR is "moderate"and the only "voice" of the masses are truthout.org, RawStory and Err Amerika.

Our founding fathers used what England considered terrorist acts (dumping tea in the harbor, for example)

Hey dumkopf - that was a TAX PROTEST. Not something I think your bunch could get behind.

They're not smart enough to realize that.

the less out-and-out GOP partisans such as Chris Matthews

LOL!

I LOVE how these DUmmies LITERALLY explain away a terrorist. That bullsh*t about "our founders were terrorists" kinda sidesteps the part about killing civilians.

A press release, then. One that will REALLY drive home the message.

Hold your nose and picture this for a moment:

It is 2010, and a DUmmy is POTUS! (Yikes!) The USA suffers a severe terrorist attack from the Islamofascists. President DUmmy calls a cabinet meeting and asks "what should we do?"

DUmmy Sec. of Defense sez: "A press release, then. One that will REALLY drive home the message"

Vote Republican.

Isn't Guy Fawkes' Night celebrated in remembrance of his failure?

re: Lightning

We had one of those storms here in the north Georgia mountains a couple of times, the last just a couple of months ago. We had a storm form just to our west, then back build right over us. We had hardly any rain, but constant lightning for about an hour. It started before I could get everything unplugged and it zapped my answering machine and modem. We were just waiting to get set on fire... I ended up having to repair the answering machine, and replace a run of the phone line and one of the satellite cables. I think all that was EMP too, nothing direct thank God.

That's where they get their ideology. From movies.

At least 65% of the country have no idea who Guy Fawkes is and why someone would wear his mask.

More like 95% woulsn't know -- it did 70M on a 50M budget -- not bad but pretty skinny these days. And I suspect it was a lot of repeat business by people who like to cheer on terrorists (like these DUmmies).

MOst people would think it is Snidely Wiplash

For one, most of them hold steady jobs, and are not on psychopharmaceuticals.

And those that are aren't proud of it.

Me too! My husband was flipping channels and landed on that, I said something like oh geez, another reality show. 15 minutes later I was watching intently.

Funny thing is, my husband told my brother about it, he got hooked and his wife did the same thing I did.

Can't wait for Thursday! I so love Major Victory, but I think he might be too silly for a comic. That leaves Feedback, because one of the flaws a superhero is allowed to have is to be too driven. (Fat Momma and Creature are only there for the entertainment value, I hope. Lemuria acts like she's suffering from clinical depression.)

Really disappointed in Monkey Woman and Tyveculus, I thought they had a good shot.

By that logic our founding fathers were terrorists. Our founding fathers used what England considered terrorist acts (dumping tea in the harbor, for example) in the lead-up to the American Revolution in order to break the chains of oppression.

How to these lame brains live with themselves? Boston Tea Party = Islamic Terror? Alrighty! Makes me want to take a shower after reading it.

How aproppriate, PJ! I just watched this last night...DUmbest movie I've ever seen. Ordinary people living their lives (they hardly looked oppressed) are suddenly going to side with a terrorist. Religion was supposedly one of the "weapons" the government used to keep people in line but the only real example of it was (naturally) a pedophile priest. Plenty of scenes with people in bars, but no one being forced to worship whatever it was they were supposed to worship. Had they showed real oppression...being told where to work, having neighbors spying on neighbors, middle of the night visits by secret police then maybe there would've been a reason for people to rise up. And most implausible, Natalie Portman's character, after being held prisoner and tortured by this dirtbag spends about 2 minutes being mad at him, then practically worships him and helps make him a martyr...puleeeeease!

November 5th!! Let's get busy! Ok, completely new motion,- that there be, um,
immediate action- to obtain black robes and Guy Fawkes masks....

Right! Time for less talk and more action!

Here here!

Agreed. Talk is cheap! Blah, blah...

How about... assembling with Lincoln masks? or Jefferson? or Washington?

Splitter!!
