Imagine: At the same time around the country -- say, noon Eastern Time -- men and women assembling before federal buildings, county court houses and legislative buildings, even Congress in the District of Columbia. All are dressed in black and wearing Guy Fawkes masks. They stand in silent vigil for a time, then disperse. I hate to break it to them, but if they try this at the Seattle Federal Building the only audience they'll get will be the homeless and the cops. The tourists are long gone by that time, since only a genuine Pacific Northwest Mossback can tolerate our Novembers.

They didn't consider the John F. Kerry antiwar group's plot to assassinate elected members of Congress to be terrorism or treason either.

By that logic our founding fathers were terrorists. Our founding fathers used what England considered terrorist acts (dumping tea in the harbor, for example) in the lead-up to the American Revolution in order to break the chains of oppression.
Lets see here, on the one hand, someone dumps tea into a harbor.. On the other hand, someone incinerates innocent people, or cuts their heads off. You have to be really, REALLY insane to even remotely equate, by inference, those two types of individuals.
Tea in harbor water is considered a "threat" to ecoterrorists.
But the founding fathers WERE seditious revolutionaries who established a new government. Anyone who advocates engaging such activity today is still a traitor to THIS nation and our government.

Leave it to the DUmmies to propose a protest date for a Sunday, when the very buildings they will be at are closed. Talke about planning for minimum exposure!

This DUmmie better be careful. Any admission that the market works is a clear tombstonable action!

Doesn't surprise me. Hunter S. Thompson vented on his ESPN column that the Abu Ghraib abuse was worse than the most offensive act of the Nazis.
"Now I am really ashamed to carry an American passport. Not even the foulest atrocities of Adolf Hitler ever shocked me so badly as these photographs did."

you're right, of course. And I've been over at DU often enough to know the depths of ignorance, stupidity, and depravity to which they are capable of sinking.
Somehow, though, they still manage to shock me. It's just the total willingness to ignore facts and logic completely when they disagree with their preconceived notions is stunning in its willfulness.

Heh. For years after, the English would celebrate Guy Fawkes Day by burning him in effigy... Do the DUers really want to take his place.

IMHO what the DUmmies don't realize is that V is fighting against the very type of Government that they so desperately crave.
The irony flies right over their heads.
