"Prison Break" looks like an abomination. I don't think criminals need further glorification -- BET and MTV are more than enough for anyone, regardless of how strong their stomach is.
The ads for "Prison Break" really tinkled me off, and IMV FR is the place to talk about it. The jackasses responsible for the show should be fired and blackballed.
Sports, FOX News, and the History Channel.
All else is garbage.
Rome, Battlestar Gallactica... and stuff with pretty women half naked....
There's another POS coming on Fox (I think it was) that is supposed to be a detective show, but in the ad, women are screaming as tarantulas are crawling over them, that kind of thing. Basically, it's "Fear Factor" -- and all so-called reality TV is garbage.

Wanna complain about garbage on TV, Will And Grace, 60 Minutes and Extreme Makeover top my lists.
I guess working nights has weaned me from TV, at least that's part of the reason, but mostly TV has been slipping down the porcelain maelstrom for a while.
Maybe it would be easier to make a list (as Porterville did) of stuff that doesn't suck. :'D Heinous shows need to be ridiculed off the air. The idea for this thread made more sense when I saw this one:

Who watches television anymore?
The computer provides up to the minute coverage.
And vidios and dvds provide the entertainment I want.
Television...is for the stupid.
HGTV,
Food Network,
Discovery, TLC, Animal Planet,
House, Lost and Extreme Home Make-over
All good and can make life fun.
Oh yeah, Fox News and the Weather channel.
You should also add the Rush Limbaugh Radio Talk Show to that group. Rush is on a mission to nail liberals and he has my help.
the only show I do watch is 24, got hooked on it while in hospital and am having to play catch up lol.
Hey; the good ole boys of the NASCAR Nextell Cup always put on a great show as well.
Well,
I DO think Dale Jr. is quite yummy to look at ;)
Oh, yeah,
and then there is that race thing too :)
"Sports"
Except for Lions fans.
I agree! I quit watching Dan Rather and 60 Minutes about 6 or 7 years ago when he broadcast a bogus report on how military guys abuse their wives. The evidence that he provided was completely bogus!
(LOL) I root for Dale Junior's racing skills.
I really admire the NASCAR drivers, most of whom say that they support President Bush and the troops.
34. Prince Harry's father is not Prince CharlesIt was clear -- and tacitly accepted -- that after only a few years of marriage, Prince Charles and Princess Diana were cheating on each other. Prince Harry was born in September 1984, and after the public glimpsed his puglike features and red hair, rumors began to circulate that he was the product of Diana's affair with army officer Major James Hewitt. Diana publicly admitted her liaison in 1995, but insisted that she met Hewitt too late for him to be Harry's father. Hewitt too claims that he first met Diana in May of 1986, when Harry was twenty months old. Simone Simmons, a former close friend of the Princess, wrote Diana: The Last Word, a book serialized in The Sun. In it, she clamed that Diana was forced to carry out paternity tests on both Harry and his brother, Prince William. The tests reportedly showed that both boys were fathered by Prince Charles.

Okay, I’m bttting one of my old vanities.
I HATE American Gladiator, even moreso than most so-called reality TV.
But my main complaint right now is those stupid Burger King ads where a supposedly hidden camera is purportedly capturing the allegedly spontaneous reactions of a series of dimbulbs when they’ve been told that there is no longer a Whopper.
I’ve never been a fan, but I literally will never eat any of their “food” again.
Furthermore, I sincerely hope that whomever came up with the campaign is fired, both within BK and whatever ad agency they used.
Or better yet, BK could just go out of business.
There, I feel better now.
The Super Bowl almost qualifies because Tom Petty is the halftime “entertainment” and — as usual — it could wind up being a blowout instead of a game.

Jim McMahon
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jim_McMahon
[snip] He retired following the 1996 season, in which he won a second Super Bowl ring with the Green Bay Packers This would be the second time McMahon won a Super Bowl at the New England Patriots expense, ironically at the same location of the Louisiana Superdome. When it was time for the Super Bowl Champs to visit the White House, McMahon wore his Chicago Bears #9 jersey. This did not go over too well with Green Bay Packer fans. His time with the Packers was noteworthy. Despite his history with the Chicago Bears and his unpopularity in many circles he was warmly welcomed in Green Bay. He mentored Brett Favre and helped Favre with throwing mechanics. With the Packers stumbling against the Dallas Cowboys at Texas Stadium on a regular basis in big games, Green Bay searched for answers to the puzzle. McMahon helped Favre correct his poor performances in Dallas by explaining that the field at Texas Stadium was dramatically crowned compared to many other fields, and this was why Favre’s sideline passes often sailed high.
