Funnel monetary aid only to those countries where there is a reasonable expectation that most of the money will be spent on the purpose for which it was intended. For those countries that are too corrupt to do this, offer only aid-in-kind. For example, instead of giving them money to buy well pumps and drills, send over a crew with well pumps, drill the wells, and hook them up.

As far as forgiving loans; why not forgive loans that will never be repaid?

I am sooooooooooooooo sick and tired of our leaders trying to solve the worlds problems on the US taxpayers backs.

To the turd world countries, try a little personal restraint regarding procreation, it might just do your countries some good.

He appears to be tired all the time and lacks the fire he once had. He's become his dad circa 1992 really fast.

What happened to all the AIDS funding our conservative president delivered to Africa? This guy throws money around like a drunk whore. I'm a little slow, but I'm finally realizing W is a mirror image of his dad.

"This guy throws money around like a drunk whore. "

More like a drunken john.

But I agree... he's turned into something other than we thought he was.

It gets harder and harder to defend him as time goes on.

I'd settle for starting by using the money we're splashing around now, to encourage same.

Nothing stops me now. I vote for whom I feel is the best candidate. Party lines dont mean much to me. However the Dems party has stunk so badly in the last few years it is discouraging for the system.

How did America get here? Looking at our roads, our cities, infrastructure, hospitals closing, lack of care for our very own elderly etc, lack of resoureces, no money for our own border security?

How in hell did we get here?

Why are we taking this?

Nope, he started out as a really big spender, and is only getting worse.

It isn't like I didn't notice before. I thought it was a mix of campaign promises (however generous and foolish they may have been, he was honorable to uphold them, although the Dem hatred can't be bought off) and good intentions. However, with the rush to rebuild New Orleans IN PLACE for people who will never appreciate it, and now ditto for Africa, I think he may have lost his grip entirely.

Look at the top right of the thread. Was it posted in Bloggers and Personal"? Or news and current events?

I see what you are saying. I have no idea how it ended up where it did as I specified it as "Breaking News". For that matter, I have no idea why it has the keywords it shows as I didn't specify any when I posted it.

Maybe it's something in the program?

Why not ask the help. No doubt they are the ones that sent this to never never land. I'd say it was done on purpose so as not to make certain people look bad.
