Everyone knows that liberals frequently troll these boards and for some reason one read my little FreepPage and emailed me about it. The following is that exchange.

I am 61, father of three (a second grade teacher, a psychologist and a computer programmer) and grandfather of two. Sally and I have been married for 38 years

I am a liberal.
Armed with this background, perhaps you can tell me...am I ignorant or evil?

Do you fully understand that it is LIBERALS who fully support unlimited access to partial birth abortions for 12 year olds without the consent or even knowledge of her parents? To a liberal, the right of a woman to murder her unborn child is the ONLY absolute right.
Do you fully understand that it is LIBERALS who are actively giving the enemies of this country aid and comfort by purposely misportraying the war in Iraq? How often does CNN feature a story about how much GOOD has been done in Iraq?
Do you understand that it was LIBERALS constant harping and whining in the media who were the primary reason that we lost Vietnam?
Do you realize that "LIBERAL" is just a synonym for progressive and socialist and communist? Don't try to pretend otherwise, the goals are all the same.
If you didn't know these things, you are simply ignorant.
If you fully understand these and are STILL a liberal, then you are not only evil, you are a traitor.
Thank you for your service to our country, but I am glad you are no longer infecting our fine young men and women in uniform with your garbage.

LOL! I got an(other) email from a person claiming that she was the daughter of some high mucky-muck or something and well, you know the rest. So I emailed her back and said, "Send me pics of you with your clothes off holding tomorrow's London Times and we'll talk."

Yep, in this case old Joe only has to "defend" his position against other teachers, 7 year olds and dim 8 year olds.

Just last night, I somehow got on the email list from democrats.com. I unsubscribed this morning after receiving two incredibly silly rants about Bush.
I have no idea how I ended up on their list, but I had better stay off.

Well, I think there is a difference between liberals and leftists. Liberals are unknowingly or willfully ignorant. Leftists are evil because they *aren't* ignorant.
I've met some nice liberals but leftists are another matter.
Same here. I can actually get along okay with liberals as long as they don't blurt out anything *truly stupid* re. Christianity or politics. I think liberals can be quite fun to converse with on most other issues. :-)

Not all members of the armed forces are soldiers. Some are just uniformed bureaucrats; and some services have a higher proportion of this than others. I'll bet that your liberal USAF officer falls into that catagory.
