Please put your links regarding justice for Terri on this thread or articles re: people who are waking up all the time and speaking because they've been given new treatments. Terri was denied a chance to eat by mouth at the end and she was denied new groundbreaking tests by Judge Greer. Instead, he stuck to his guns that she would be starved and dehydrated beginning on March 18th. What a man. It takes a big man to starve an innocent woman to death. This was ALL AGAINST THE FLORIDA STATUTES.

The GOP is getting phone calls but they are not listening to their constituents on the issue of George Greer. Does the GOP endorse judicial tyranny? Ask them. Find out.
Possibly we can mend a divide in the Republican Party that is turning into a dangerous crevasse by demanding the impeachment of Judge George Greer, Sixth Circuit Court, Pinellas County, Florida.
If that sounds radical, please note that the democrats are in trouble as well for not saving Terri's life.
Greer had super powers over the Governor of Florida, over the US Congress, the President and over the FDLE. Greer who was in defiance of the US Congress and President is the one who needs investigation and impeachment but the RINO's in Tallahassee are reluctant to do their duty.
If Terri was killed because of money and power, let us find out how RINOS like Senator Jim King went into battle against Terri with the death lobby and the national trial lawyers. Senator Jim King of Duval County should not get a pass either, not ever.
Terri's parents say "Never again."
If we don't work on this huge problem, a nation suffers irreparable damage.

Why not just get the state gov. to pass a law making it illegal to remove ANYONES feeding tube?
As it stands now, feeding tubes are classed as life prolonging measures, like respirators, in Florida.
How can a judge be impeached for upholding state law?
George Greer violated many of Florida's laws, not just re: the feeding tube.

It is a felony in FL to deny food, water, or reasonable care to an elderly or disabled person. Yet Greer ordered exactly that....

Terri's bone scan showed a lot of major broken bones. If the ME says no broken bones, he's filing a false report.

He violated the law when he issued a death warrant on Terri by ruling she would want to die like this when the evidance of this was all heresay and obviously false!
We can impeach Greer in the court of public opinion and next year is an election year.
He ordered the removal of all nutrition and hydration from Terri schindler.
Thus, he was not upholding the law but violating it.

I'm holding back on criticizing the Bush's but by the time June rolls around, I'll probably start up again re: their dereliction of duty.
Then there's Jim King's gang of nine GOP Senators in the Florida Legislature. They voted AGAINST TERRI'S LIFE. The GOP nine sealed Terri's fate too.
It would be better to build up a momentum and then push for a congressional investigation of Terri's case. That in turn might lead to the successful impeachment of Judge Greer.

More people are writing to the legislators, I know cause I'm getting copies. I think we must do all three, sign, write, and call.
OurFlorida.true.ws is my site. I've got friends who won't go to news sites but they'll read emails. My hope is that by getting enough folks connected via email we can accomplish something on this issue and others. Sexual predators is a big one and I'm working on a page for that.
Remember that Greer changed a witness's sworn testimony which is tampering with evidence. GREER CHANGED TERRI'S AGE to suit his purposes. He miscalculated Karen Ann Quinlan's court order and Quinlan's actual date of death. This was gross malfeasance which is par for the course with Greer. The other judges were affirming GROSS MALFEASANCE, that's all.

I addition to voting against Greer, I would suggest similar action against everyone in the legislature. They could easily have written that law so that it was constitutional. They chose not to.

Yes, the legislature failed too. I blame Senator Jim King for the Senate vote and the 8 who went along with him. But, we cannot put all their names in the title. LOL
I do understand, however, that the story must remain in the public eye. To those of us who were deeply disturbed by it, and that includes many, many people, it won't be forgotten.
The fact that the Florida House is continuing to ignore constituents, only further proves my point. If any authorities are going to be encouraged to do some thing about the GROSS and OBSCENE injustice against Terri Schindler, it will be authorities outside the state of Florida.

My contact with Tallahassee just received a phone call from House Rep Julio Robaina, District 117. He's from Miami, Florida. Represesentative Robaina has authorized a Press Release as follows:
Florida Residents Please: Governor Jeb Bush is amenable to signing a Constitutional Amendment if Floridians sign a Petition requesting that "If a person who doesn't have a Living Will or written directives and are a resident of Florida, they will never be deprived of nutrition and hydration."
Representative Robaina wants to make it clear that efforts for a Constitutional Amendment be a bi-partisan measure and the Constitutional Amendment will be out of respect for the "will of the people".
Tutstar, would you be willing to start the Petition and post it here for starters? There's a window of 14 days or so so we must get as many signatures as possible.

Good news up above. See the pic of Julio Robaina from the Fla House of Representives? It's breaking news and you heard it here first. I hope a Constitutional Amendment will be in the works very soon.
If I'm not mistaken constitutional petitions must be handwritten. I'll check on it.
If it needs to be handwritten, then there's work to be done. Robaina did not discuss the manner of the Petition.
That is what needs to be done.
As the law stands now, removing feeding tubes is no different than cutting of a respirator.
It's what they should have done from the start, instead of passing laws for just one person.
