Here is something that should not surprise you. In a two-year study of more than 100,000 high school student and educators, a majority of students believed that flag burning was illegal, and that the government could censor the internet. Another shocker was that most high school students think that the first amendment goes too far in protecting our rights to free speech, press and religion.

Our public school system has absolutely failed this country. The foundation of our way of life is spelled out in the constitution, and nothing should be more sacred to our citizens than the first ammendment. I am stupdefied that we have seniors in high school who do not understand the very basic right we enjoy as citizens of this country. The constitution, along with judges like those on the 9th Circuit have perverted our first amendment rights so badly that we no longer hold them in high regard.
