Democratic presidential hopeful Beto O’Rourke compared the rhetoric of President Trump to Nazi Germany Monday, before declaring, “Well, Jesus Christ, of course he’s racist.”
O’Rourke joined MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” to discuss his thoughts on the tragic mass shootings in El Paso, Texas and Dayton, Ohio when host Joe Scarborough criticized Republicans who don’t condemn rhetoric used by Trump.
“I mean the president has not been shy. He’s not been saying this behind closed doors. This is out in the open. All people of one religion, inherently defective ... should be banned from the shores of this country,” O’Rourke said on MSNBC. “The only modern Western democracy… that said anything close to this is the Third Reich, Nazi Germany.”
O’Rourke said Trump makes people “subhuman” and his “open racism” invites additional violence. The former Texas congressman then noted that media members are contributing to what he considers an ongoing issue in America.

This guy is really making a complete clown of himself these past few days trying to pander to the extreme left in a desperate bid to salvage his failing presidential campaign. It’s embarrassing to watch and listen to. I really hope he disappears after losing the Democratic presidential primary, but I’m guessing he’ll run for some gubernatorial or Senate seat in Texas again.
Trump has transgressed the “Unwritten Law”.
I thought it was bad enough no one in the DNC can identify a Constitutional Republic. I never imagined anyone would regard the Third Reich as a modern democracy. No wonder they’re confused.
I listen to Trump and never hear him speak like all these godless wack jobs spew accusations. Their Bigotry and hatred they wear on their sleeve, but their entire focus is a desperate search for fault in Trump.

Beto thinks that whoever is most anti-Trump will win the Dem nomination.
