My point exactly- all of gowdy’s ‘brilliant questioning’ has resulted in zero calls for special council to investigate-

Precisely- He talks a great game, but never gets congress to follow through on any of it- dog and pony show-
Actually quite a few when he was a prosecutor. His record on convictions procured is the same as mine and probably yours since he ceased being a prosecutor.

Let me give you a clue. Prosecutions are undertaken by the Justice Department not the Congress. And, perhaps you are not aware, that Dept has been is enemy hands but for the last five months.
Which for the elites means NOTHING.

READ my post- no clue needed- I even made it very clear that they don’t do so- But to repeat, I’ll reiterate here- It is congress that recommends appointing special council=- prosecutor or whatever- it just happened with the russia collusion deal where a special investigation is now underway- Yes the FBI has some enemies within- however, it’s still possible- IF republicans had the nuts that the left has, they’d be screaming for a special council day ands night just like the dems do to us- until they have no choice but assign one-
But nope- that is NOT what we see happen- all we get is a dog and pony show
and let me just add- it doesn’t matter if there are some in the FBI who are enemies of Trump- A special council appointed by the right, will be the one who recommends either submitting the evidence found to someone like sessions for prosecution- As i said in my previous posts- the republicans ‘could be’ putting the fear of God into the left- but nope=- they just grandstand and get nothing done- even when the ones that are under FBI review are committing felonies- It’s little wonder that people have little faith in congress’ will to do the right thing anymore-
We are in post-Trump days when it has been shown that the media can be defied without losing. The hearings which have been referenced were Pre-Trump days when Republicans cowered like whipped dogs. No matter how loud they screamed (and I agree that it was not loud enough) no one would have paid the slightest attention thanks to the Democrat media.
If you are not satisfied with the GOP performance start doing some screaming yourself and writing to the members of the Intelligence Committees of both the House and the Senate. That is what I am doing.
