Russia has not received extradition request for Snowden from the United States, the Justice Ministry said Thursday. The ministry did receive a letter from Eric Holder explaining some aspects of the U.S. position on the status of Snowden... The "document did not contain (a) request for the extradition or deportation of this individual," the statement said.

Watch Obama do something stupid like authorize a drone strike, killing some Russians in the process. Wouldn’t that be grand?

As long as Snowden isn’t giving anyone any military technological secrets or anything that would compromise national security, I feel like this guy is a true American Hero.

There is not one person that is okay with their privacy being invaded. Anywhere, not one.

The Obama administration doesn’t want him back.

Soros is not welcome in many countries but in Russia he stands indicted as a wanted criminal who has refuge in the USA. A trade Soros for Snowden might be plausible, but it wouldn’t really appeal to me because I believe Soros and his like ilk are far more dangerous to the USA than Snowden.

Yes indeed.
The plot thickens.

I always had the gut feeling this guy was working for team Obama.
The USA looks bad, but somehow Obama doesn’t get any on him.

The last thing this gov’t wants is to see Snowden back in the good ol’ U.S. of A.

His trial would open up a can of worms for the feds in any court proceeding.

If the USA and Russia have no agreement on extradiction, then what would be the use of such a document? I can understand its value in Venezuela, at least - they are short on toilet paper there.

Typically countries do not send each other requests that they cannot enforce. I think this is one of such cases - an angry, toothless letter, written by a clerk at the State Department. No response, outside of a popular gesture, is expected.

I’d bet there are many hard core progressive Obama supporters that welcome and support conservative’s privacy being invaded.

Of course not. Obama is like a fly-he craps on everything he touches but never gets crapped on.

Why not....he just kept taking their abuse and never defended himself.

And his Dad was at the White House last week kissing up to Obama, an avowed enemy of the USA who is destroying us. Disgusting.

Snowden claims he had access to Obamas communications, yet there was nothing to see there.
It’s just a rouge gov agency, like the IRS.

Spill it Snowden or STFU!
This guy is a ruse of some sort.

Let’s ask Snowden.
He is the king of all things pure.
Just ask anyone here.
He is a Saint.

BINGO!!!

They’re using him. He exposes the NSA abuses and they throw the blame back at him. It takes a lot of pressure off of them and distracts from the real implications.

The United States is no longer a sovereign nation. The powers that be are not looking out for the USA but only the special interests in the USA that can support their agendas.

It’s all a big world wide game now. It’s sad and disgusting.

I agree.

But, it just seems that anything pushed by a Republican is criminal but they will defend to death the exact same thing forced upon us by a dem.
