We don’t want to defeat Obama and get more of the same from Mittens.

I'd tweak that a bit. It's like Bush was only half as bad as Obama. Bush gave us unfunded Medicare Rx mandates, liberal immigration reform, questionable court appointments and $500 billion deficits. Obama basically multiplied all of that by two. Trillion dollar deficits, ended welfare reform, increased food stamps, Obamacare, etc.

Romney will be no different. It's the lesser of two evils argument. I get the argument for voting for Romney, but it really doesn't hold water, because in essence all conservatives who are holding their noses and pulling the lever for Romney next Tuesday are saying is "America going over the cliff, but we can put the crash off for awhile by defeating Obama."

I don't buy that. The whole point is to stop the thing from going off the cliff. We we need to crash the two-party system in the meantime to accomplish that, then I think it's a price well worth paying.

I'm voting Libertarian.

The question between Obama and Romney is a no-brainer. What are you, a zygote?

While I agree with most of your statement, the problem lies with support and momentum. Im all for crashing the two party system, but to do that, there needs to be a groundswell of support and that person needs to actually have a chance. There needs to be more ACTIVE support and that is where the Libertarians always seem to fall short. We complain but rarely get active. I dont like Mitt and I do fear that he will be another “Bush” (picking and choosing what parts of the Constitution to follow), but there isnt enough support for Johnson for him to be viable. There needs to be more of an effort, more coordination, and momentum for any third party to really have a chance at actually WINNING.

I held my nose this election and voted straight Obama. He is the True Patriot of this country. I want a Presient who isnt afriad to sell out the evil military and who supports mexican freedom fighters like the Sinola’s. I want a Presient who knows his status and isnt afraid to take advantage of his rock-stardom by treating everyone around him like peasants. I want hope and change and an end to the racist Republicans, their women hating, freedom hating, and stalling in Congress. I want free teddy bears, smaller sodas, and an all powerful nanny state that wipes my butt. I want a world where it isnt my fault, it’s yours because you are rich and I make terrible decisions therefore gimme all your money you evil hillbilly clowns. When Obma is re-elected, the sky will be a permenant rainbow.

=P

Kidding.... I voted Mitt on Friday. It was my first time to vote. Im 33, live in TX, and a registered Independant. I voted Mitt because the current leadership disgusts me. I thought we were ending the Bush Doctrine yet Obama both continued and advanced it. It’s going to be an interesting next few days.
