I’m about a third of the way into it.

I never knew any of this stuff about the interrelationship of Mussolini, Lenin, Hitler and their common philosophical origins.

Likewise Woodrow Wilson. The man was a megalomaniacal nutcase. We basically forgot about his wartime outrages as fast as we could by mutual consent. Like Clinton’s impeachment stunts.

There is nothing new under the sun, my friends. Liberals need to read this even more. They would learn the truth of their origins. Liberals, however, are unable to read past the cover art.

Its a good book.

However, I wouldn’t recommend this for your first post on FR.

Reagan once said:
“How do you tell a communist?
Well, it’s someone who reads Marx and Lenin.

And how do you tell an anti-communist? It’s someone who UNDERSTANDS Marx and Lenin.”

“Feel-Good” populist politics has led to the eventual deaths of HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS since the beginning of the 20th Century, and these liberal idiots STILL don’t get it.

Did you know that Woodrow Wilson is Bill Clinton’s favorite President? I heard him say that during one of his early interviews.

"Liberals need to read this even more. They would learn the truth of their origins. Liberals, however, are unable to read past the cover art."

That's the truth. One of the saddest things about books like that is that they are generally read only by people whose opinions are consonant with the authors.

Goldberg did a very good job of bringing to light the influence that many in the American Progressive movement had on European Fascists and NAZI's. He also did much to clarify what the definition and real nature of fascism is. Like he pointed out, it's a word that is very often used, but little understood.

Liberals would die of a heart attack trying to read a book like this.

They certainly wouldn't care much for it. The only history they seem to like is that which has been "revised" to suit their agendas.

There's another book that's just been published titled The Conservative History of the American Left by Daniel Flynn that might be a good companion book for Liberal Fascism. I plan to read it as soon as I've finished two in the queue. It's been a good year for books, particularly Liberal Fascism and M. Stanton Evans's Blacklisted by History .

I wish political developments were as good lately. Freedonomics, I neglected to welcome you to the forum.

Never apologize for them.
Never appease them.
Never forget.

Ping! I highly recommend the book. It is a detailed read though, so be prepared for long stretches of historical reference. His points are solid and definitely relevant in today’s political world.
