Having read your speculative "hi-tech super-double-secret created-in-Duke-Chem-lab" theory of how these ingenius lacrosse players could've pulled off the untraceable rape...
I was offering my own theory...one of comparable likelihood...that perhaps space aliens had provided the magic condoms.
Or better yet...maybe space aliens were actually impersonating the lacrosse players. As you assuredly know, space aliens do NOT leave any DNA when they rape humans.

Look, when the firing of the commie spy was announced Friday I went looking for Liberal blog sites where the writer had mentioned the "secret underground CIA prisons" and "Mary McCarthy" in the same paragraph with the idea in mind that she had been a primary source for their understanding of the topic and simply could not fail to let their little buddies know that they knew that she told them. Kind of a coup counting deal on the left I guess.
There were HUNDREDS of them.
In most cases they tried to cover their tracks (and the code words of greeting to their Leninist masters) by referencing an earlier Mary McCarthy's accusation that a leftwingnut named Lilian Hellman told lies, even to the words and and the.
So, when it comes to this situation and the idea that maybe we have a date rape drug at play in the picture, it simply occurred to me that someone earlier might well have had a "guilty conscience" from having secret knowledge of what actually happened and let it "slip out".

Almost two-thirds of the people surveyed by Opinion Research Inc. said they hadn't even read or heard news about Durham in the past two weeks, and only 6 percent said their opinion of the city had declined recently.
The CVB plans to conduct more tracking polls in the coming weeks to continue gauging the impact of the ongoing case on the city's image.
