I don't know; it was somebody I knew, but still, the point is that you just never know who you're talking to.
Needless to say, that was the end of my "discussion" on those threads. (Except, of course, a snipe here and there. Restrain has never been one of my big virtues.)

Yep, it's amazing what some people think they have a right to say. When my dad died, someone said "I certainly hope that he was born again so he won't be burning in hell today". Thanks Peach. It was just a thought that came to mind some time ago after reading so many remarks that are unfounded and/or not researched.
I have, as well as others noticed some wacky responses on various threads since I have been a member of FR. Makes one wonder.
But the Terri Schiavo threads really took the cake imho.
Sometimes I think the older I get the less I understand people. What has happened to civility?
