Do car chases not happen in any other state?
I guess not.
Runner-up is Florida, I think, because of the good weather and easy visibility from the air.
Car chases are a Fox specialty. It has nothing to do with conservatism, of course, but everything to do with ratings.
Yeah- they probably do...heheh...but California always has dramatic ones...and Fox always covers em.
They just stopped covering it cause of a fog bank - the chopper can't fly into it.
We had a chase in Pittsburgh last week involving a stolen dirt bike. The idiot had successfully gotten away from the police, they stopped pursuit and 5 minutees later the guy ran into a parked truck and died.
We have Direct TV (I live in Ohio) and we get our local news plus the East and West coast feeds.
I hardly ever watch any Network news or any of their local news feeds but If I do surf over to one of them nine times out of ten when I get to the California local news I see a car chase.
The running Joke around here is they are all relatives of OJ.
In answer to your question, no I don't believe that car chases happen in other states. ONLY IN CALIFORNIA!!!
