Lordeeeeee, Ma'am! I've been a NWS "Skywarn"-trained Ham Radio tornado spotter (mostly in Sherman [TX]) for over thirty years, and I "ain't never" seen a monster like that'un!!

Are you sure that photo is "for real"? Do you know when and where it was taken?

I've never seen such a sharply-defined ("rotating base") wall cloud -- and I for sure never saw one that extended nearly down to the ground... with a near-wallcloud-sized funnel on it! And, unless that brown stuff to the right is rain (and not dust), I've never seen a funnel so clearly out on the "rain-free base" -- and fullly detached from the rainshaft...

If that photo is authentic, it definitely should be in the Fort Worth NWS's next "Skywarn" training video!

FWIW, here (near where the eastern TX border adjoins both AR & LA), it's is 66 degrees -- headed for 70...
