I know a couple that got a windfall through inheritance. It all came from a lawsuit. Anyway, great couple but the first thing he did was buy a brand new Corvette. 3 kids and he buys a Corcette. 😂

I lived not far from where the Eagle Computer president died in that crash. It was a huge local story.
That as 40 years ago. Wow.
Also laughable that he scored only $9 million in his IPO

That’s an example of a design where the body of the car is designed to absorb the energy of the impact to minimize the energy absorbed into the bodies of the occupants.
Of course they are dealing with the extreme example here which did save the life of the driver.

By the way, here's a story about a guy who made big money one day, and that same day bought a Ferrari to celebrate coming into money, and that very night, fatally crashing that Ferarri:
Computer executive Dennis Barnhart died in an auto crash
I read the story> This guy was an ex Navy PILOT!
You would think someone like him would learn how to drive something like that before doing something Stupid!
