Most 911s have rear jump seats, with seat belts. The feature of rear seats in some Porsche sports models is a marketing ploy that goes back to the 1950s - wives couldn't object to dad's purchase of a sports car because they couldn't bring their small kids along.

I am 6'3" and was actually able to cram myself into the rear seats of a 911 when I was (a lot) younger. The rear jump seats are far more suitable for briefcases, small animals and small children, though.

I love Porsches, but I don't think that a 2014 Porsche 911 would be the best first car to choose for a 16 year old. A pre-dinged 9 year old Volvo would be my own recommendation. (The lower the horsepower, and the slower the car, the better.)

I doubt her parents ever thought she would be killed in a 911 Porsche. you cant fix poor parenting. just pray for the spoiled children.

My daughter used to get really annoyed because we tracked her on Life 360 when she went out.

Now she understands why we did it, and is grateful.
