What should have happened in the movie “shoot the moon”.

It would be a real hoot if the Indians decide to migrate and climb aboard the Russki lander.

I liked Karen Allen back in the day. I was too young to understand why…

My favorites from tv when young were Lynda Carter, Catherine Bach, and Erin Grey.

We need to nuke the Moon.

You could hit it with our biggest nukes and you wouldn't be able to tell anything happened. One of the southern hemisphere craters on the moon is about 1,500 miles in diameter...about 5 miles deep.. About where these landers are headed.

That’s like a crater diameter from the east coast to beyond Albuquerque, 5 miles deep.

Compared to the energy of these lunar impacts, our nukes are toddler farts.

Don't Touch the Moon--Cornell Blakely (1958)

Don't touch the moon.
I need it for loving.
Don't touch the stars,
I need them, too.
All you frantic scientists,
Find something else to do.

There isn’t a race. That ended on 7/20/69.

There's a new, more significant race to establish permanent outposts on the Moon, and we are way behind. Our last successful soft Moon landing was half a century ago. We haven't been back since. China has had a more recent moon landing than us. If Russia and India accomplish it, they will have done so more recently than us.

You know those crackpots that think we never landed on the moon? I’m one of ‘em.

I hope that we (Americans) don’t have to send an IT guy up there to fix the red-dot’s programming errors...

Yeah.. hmm.. I looked it up (and watched the preview vid)..

They were trying to parody Sarah Palin (not Hitlery) as president.
