"Best to keep this UFO kerfuffle far away from the Bible."
Ezekiel had a strange story to tell in the Bible.

I find it strange that almost all threads which concern “science” including UFOs are attacked by the faithful here as heresy, no matter where they are posted. They come and try to bury them in scat. But I do not see those who would like to discuss science or UFOs scatting in the Religion forum at all.

Yep, that's been going on a long time...

Sir, I didn’t inject religion into a UFO thread. The article posted pertains to an intersection of UFOs and the Bible. Commenting on the topic as I did can hardly be called “de-railing”.

Which is a good example of how the UFO reveal will cause nothing but problems.

I didn’t say you tried to derail this thread. I just wanted to share a general observation of reality “related” to your warning. There is a large element that do indeed do this all the time.

But by your own words you made it very clear we should not associate the two ideas with each other. Twice...

Looks like some aside from myself also took that as a warning against possible persecution here for heresy. So I was just making an observation based on the concept you shared.

It’s also documented that while tracking them on radar that they “fly” thru solid ground.

“they “fly” thru solid ground.”

I believe the theory that they are only “semi” physical as needed. Have you seen anything yet where you are? I won’t share where you are, but you are in a prime place for sightings. :)

Keep looking up and the chances there are very good. Let me share my own experiences...

Both experiences were the typical “lights that behave beyond our own known capability.” As you know we live in the US desert southwest where there are a lot of sightings. My first was with three other friends fishing on the Colorado River at night and no moon in 1981.

Above the eastern horizon at an altitude of about 20 thousand feet two lights appeared that were not blinking like aircraft. They were approximately 15 miles apart next to each other at the same altitude. We could detect very slight movement but they were pretty much hovering in one place as we watched them trying to figure out what they were.

As we we discussed them they ever so slowly rose in unison together side by side even though they were 15 miles apart. Then they slowly dropped back down with the same unison. They did this three times. Then we noticed that as we looked at each other to discuss it they seemed to be trying to sneak off to the right together in unison. Like dogs trying to sneak away thinking no one could see them.

So out of curiosity we purposely made a point of all looking away and looking back. Each time we caught them moving slowly and then they would stop again when we looked back at them. By now we were blown away and could not take our eyes off them. So we stared for about 20 minutes, and then all of a sudden in unison they took off in an arc straight out of the atmosphere into space.

Now we all have a pretty good understanding of physics and aerodynamics, and we had all witnessed many rocket launches from Vandenberg Air Force Base over the years, so we knew exactly where the atmosphere and space met from our perspective and vantage point.

And growing up out here we also understood how inversion layers between hot and cold air can create a mirror effect that might reflect cars lights and such from a distance, this was not that for sure, they were far too far apart for that to be the cause. And they would have moved in only one direction, not differing directions in unison with intelligence.

No, this was movement beyond all known possibility. And what could not be denied was the fact they absolutely knew when we were looking at them and when we were looking away, they were in our minds and could somehow detect this during our observations. THIS FACT was life changing for all of us. It was absolutely a connection of consciousness.

Now the second time was when another friend and I were out Deer hunting in the early 1990s. It was almost the same experience except there were three that did similar hovering moves in unison at the same altitude, one a little farther away from the other two. but when they took off into space they went single file one after the other straight out. And yes, they too somehow knew when we were looking at them and when we were not.

I’m a Big Sky watcher !
In fact I’ve scouted out Heber/Overgaard
where Travis Walton used a phone Booth.
The infamous movie ‘Fire in the Sky.’
I think the Mingus Mountains would be a hot spot to camp...just back from there this afternoon.
From your experience of ‘consciousness’ it reminds me of several encounters myself which gave me proof we live Surrounded by
Spiritual entities that we see and interact with- without communication.

I am less afraid of the so called fallen angles and nephilians than of the crooked and destructive swamp creatures occupying the cesspool in the District of Corruption. If those aliens wanted to harm us they could have done so long time ago as they have ways, means and technology to do so.

When an unclean spirit comes out of a man, it passes through arid places seeking rest and does not find it. Then it says, 'I will return to the house I left.' Luke 11:24

Through His work on the Cross Christ exposed and defeated fallen angels pretending to be gods and goddesses. They were never to take on the guise of gods and goddesses ever again. And so the West in particular had been swept clean. But fallen angels remained active in various ways, one being as UFOs.Beginning with the Renaissance they entered into the heart of Christendom in the guise of Chiefs, spirit guides, and so on. But they brought with them spirits perhaps more evil than themselves such as the spirits calling themselves Kundalini and Siva.

--- “And especially because there was a message to be conveyed as the gist of the tale. And as preached all the time, THIS is the main importance.

I'd say we are in total agreement in this.

--- "That's kind of narrow minded thinking when you think aliens must travel light year distances approaching light speed. Maybe they figured out wormhole type travel. Maybe they're here but just in another dimension and travel easily between. We send craft to other planets and they crash.. quite often and we see piloted aircraft crash all the time as well."

We send craft to other planets? Really? Perhaps you can fill me in on this, please.

--- "Thinking our narrow minded beliefs in science, physics and our place in the universe is all there is an odd way to see things.

I have no "belief" in science or physics in particular, because "belief" is a word I reserve for religious thought in general. One requires no "belief" in physics, mathematics and the like.

As to "an odd way to see things," this is a broad topic which a few sentences cannot capture. It may well be that we each will see the other as "odd," because your "about" page's picture of a semi is stenciled with a flag, while mine is plain, old metal colored.

You raise a very strange point that is common among people who see "orbs" (at a distance and up close). The orbs (lights or UFO's) seem to know they are being watched...they have a connection to the watcher's minds.

Here's an article regarding that UFO/mind connection. I was thinking about posting it other day but wasn't sure if it was on subject or would simply confuse the UFO issue.

UFO 'expert' who was studied by NASA for YEARS claims he can summon 'alien orbs by prayer' (the Chris Bledsoe story).
This guy actually prays to the orbs (he's very naive Biblically) assuming that they are not demonic or otherwise evil. He prays to them but doesn't test them a la 1 John 4 (see post #9 above). He portrays himself as "deeply religious" but I haven't been able to figure out what religion that is. He even has visitations by an apparition he calls "The Lady." He prays to her and has detailed conversations. She tells him he has been chosen to spread her message (among other things).

There is so much information available these days that I get a bit irritated with the “don’t know what they are” crowd.

If they don’t believe the secret space program folks then they can at least get up to speed on Jacques Vallee and/or Richard Dolan.

I'm very well acquainted with Vallee, and Don Berliner, and Dr. Jacobs. I was former D.C. MUFON.

Lately, Dolan seems to have gone over to the dark side/bought into the whole Elezando CIA disinformation scam.

I'll say it again, I just don't believe anybody who states categorically that these are space aliens. Or that they are demons. Or that they are fairies. I've heard the stories. But that's all they are. I've seen disc shaped structures on two different occasions at fairly close range that looked solid and didn't fly our sound like aircraft, helos, balloons, clouds, birds, etc.

I have no idea what they were, except silent, solid looking metallic discs.

Mars for one and we actually have a small helo doing flights on that planet. I believe 54 solo flights so far.

For a list of other planets:

Having no belief in science, physics, mathematics or the like only religion is definitely narrow minded. Free thought gave us the ability use our minds. Wanting to explore and learn is a good thing and science, physics, mathmatics and the like are part of those things which also gave you the computer or phone you use to type and post on FR. Without them you wouldn’t. Not to mention your home, everything in it and you vehicles and your plain old meal semi.

I’m a patriotic kind of guy for a reason.

Thanks for the reply. I had little knowledge of the number of attempts, nor how many were in the Soviet era by Soviets. I note the phrase, "crushed by atmospheric pressure before impact." So in terms of the article which spawned this thread, sounds like man-made probes often were expected to fail. What might one make out of the UFO/UAF tales then?

--- "Wanting to explore and learn is a good thing and science, physics, mathematics and the like are part of those things which also gave you the computer or phone you use to type and post on FR. I have no problem with exploration. I use a distinction between "belief" and "knowledge" as less-supported and more-supported propositions along a spectrum of human thought. And so we use words differently. I have no "belief" in science, because it for me demands no "belief." This remains an interesting bugaboo for the AI types, trying so hard to replicate that which we are no where near to replicating.

A reference in that regard: Glossary of Cognitive Science, Charles Dunlop and James Fetzer, Paragon, 1993. It's short, concise and a good starting point for lots of notions. And cheap, via the used book sites.

I don't "believe" my "plain old meal semi" (by which you mean metal, I am sure, since us older guys and typing....) will function, because I "know" it will.

As to "everything," I compliment the trash guy when he comes by, the lineman when he repairs our connectivity, and more. The little guys, not the politicians, make the world work. Usually politicians screw thing up. Sometimes royally.

Best wishes, with the thought that we likely both shoot reasonably straight. Likely in the same direction too, when all is said and done.
