Given the tragedy this is not the place for sarcasm, but it is astonishing in this woke world that rule of law - as in the common law and and no under the concept of equity restoral rights or whatever the nonsense is - has any meaning whatsoever.

Over/Under on whether the verdict will be reversed by an appeals court based on the trial Judge allowing this disturbed individual to defend himself without legal counsel.

He can file for an appeal, I doubt he will get one. He may have a personality disorder, but that is not being mentally ill. He knew what he was doing the whole time and was aware of what was going on the whole time.
It won’t get reversed. He is competent, but he is a narcissist. He had the right to defend himself, just because he did a terrible job by being an ass is on him.
There is a truth here. He has nothing to defend himself with because he was 100% guilty. It was on video and documented with all kinds of testimony.
His whole strategy was to try and seek a mistrial or disrupt and abuse in order to get an appeal. His last tactic was to pretend he didn’t understand anything and he was caught showing that he did.
He objected many times saying he didn’t understand. And several times he wouldn’t answer when asked if he understood that he would lose his right to testify etc. so the judge determined no answer meant no. Don’t know if that can be used for appeal. Might be why she would ask him over and over again. If he gets an appeal he should not be allowed to defend himself again. This trail was a sh— show.
