Seems a lot has changed since 2017 - other than appearances.
Having a hard time understanding why a dead person would be sent to jail but, on the bright side, they did bond him out, presumably to attend his own funeral.
Or am I reading the headline wrong?
Title is misleading, it infers the dead student bonded out of jail,,,,
Her parents must be so proud.
Is it just me, or is that headline pretty well effed-up?
Chickenlips. Guilty.
OK, I guess it isn’t just me after all. Yep, the headline is FUBAR
No. I have seen some pretty stupid headlines around lately. Sounds like the dead student bonded out of jail.
Maybe these journalists need to go to college and get educated.
Yes, the headline is goofy. It sounds like the dead person bonded out of jail. Maybe that’s how Democrats plan to win in November.
It is not just the headline. The beginning of the article itself could be read as if the she-perp was riding on a scooter when she ran over the victim.
Personally, my view is that is if we think she will show up for court and is unlikely to do this or something similar in the interim (yes and yes), then bail is probably appropriate.
Bonds out dead?? Wow! That’s a neat trick!
Yes
The bail is acceptable if she shows up for trial (she will because she is guaranteed a cream puff sentence), AND if she gets an appropriate sentence (it is also guaranteed she will not).
Sad story.
She was drunk and killed a young man.
One life gone, another ruined.
“she was dragging a scooter…”
It’s the new fad.
Driving a Mercedes and photo is probably at the private golf course. She’ll probably get the Pelosi treatment.
My alma mater. Strange days indeed.
That’s the problem. They went to college, but didn’t get educated. 🙂

You’re not alone. I could only decode the headline after reading the story, and even then it’s incredibly confusing who is being referenced.
