>Now, researchers from the Universities of Padova and Bologna in Italy have proposed what they think might be the simplest explanation for the unexpected kink in the family tree<

Boy are they going to have problems at all out if the earth is still around thousands of years from now.

Actually I don’t see them caring at all, as they want history erased.
I foresee the ‘B.O.R.G.’ headed by Pelosi and Biden.

I remember reading somewhere that using DNA reverse technology it was determined that all of humanity had come from a group of about a dozen or so individuals......................

Apparently we came from Adam and Eve. Does that make us incest-uessed?
It’s complicated. ;-)

It’s not absurd. There’s a difference between “any appearance” and “any lasting appearance”. Anatomically modern humans, like other varities of homo sapiens, were great roamers. But whether the initial explorers were followed by enough of their kind to establish a lasting population is not a given.

“The “Out of Africa” narrative will continue to be pressed just as Anthropogenic Climate Change has been - with just as much evidence.”

All to push a particular agenda.

“<>”Chimp and human genomes are very similar and encode very similar proteins. The DNA sequence that can be directly compared between the two genomes is almost 99 percent identical. When DNA insertions and deletions are taken into account, humans and chimps still share 96 percent of their sequence.”<>”

Which means that 4% difference is crucially important. It differentiates a conscious, thinking, organizing being capable of adapting the world to his needs from an instinctive animal that is a slave of his environment.

You, sir, are correct.

That was precisely my point.

I was responding to a post that seemed to poo-poo such minor genetic differences.

Excellent post—that is exactly how “science” works these days.

If you point out the “miracle” step you get fired.

Small differences in genotype can spell big differences phenotype.

Yup. The Devil is in the details.

It’s not absurd. There’s a difference between “any appearance” and “any lasting appearance”.

The claims are modern humans established a lasting appearance in Australia 65,000 years ago, but did not establish a lasting appearance in Europe until 38,000 years ago. To make such a claim is absurd.

Europe is right next to Africa. Literally a few miles away.

Australia is about as far from Africa you can get, and still be on earth.

The claim is absurd.

Cain. Jealous, violent, disobedient, and all around A-hole. I think I see the genetic markers. Mormons used to teach that the sin/curse of Cain was black skin. Hence Blacks could join that church but we’re limited in what positions they could perform. Interesting thoughts they don’t like being brought up these days. If anyone runs into Mittens, ask him to explain the true word of God vs political expediency that made those changes in his church. Did he disagree before he now agrees …. Just to be clear, I hate mittens.

They lived a long time and had many children. The corruption of evil / sin slowly corrupted our life cycle and genetics. That’s my opinion or hunch. So in short his sister.

As the old joke in Alabama, if she isn’t good enough for her family then she isn’t good enough for ours.
