He never saw those days. That was all shut down by 2000 so we could be “legitamate” because “people were watching and needed somebody to turn to” or some such thing. It wasnt until later when some of it turned out to be true that it started creeping back.

Yeah, things changed in 2000 for the prez election around here. This was the place to go, for conservative republicans. Unfortunately, many many of them were not so conservative and certainly not constitutionalist. Plus, a lot more people are statist than they want to admit — they don’t mind the state having a lot of power as long as it’s their side that is in power.

Laz, since this is a nostalgia thread, several years ago there was a definitely not guilty female French freeper who was protesting what was going on over there. As we have learned over the site's 20 year history, there are always protests in France, so which protest over what is hard to track. I forgot her name and she may either moved on or was a victim of the quadrennial election year purges.
I thought to ask if you remembered her for... obvious reasons.
