“OHSA is going to get crushed in court by Intel“
Do you have more info on this? More intel…..pun intended 😀
Also, I am somewhat surprised Intel does not have some sort of federal contracts thus under the EO for federal contractors not under the soon to be OSHA rule.
Imagine if an employer hired 200 people, including 10 Muslims, but then put the Muslims on “unpaid suspension” because they insisted on taking Islamic holidays off. That plan would be shut down within hours in any Federal court.
Ok, why does a fed contractor fall under this mandate in the first place? Are they actually employed by the government? If you work for a company which has government contracts of any size, why do companies feel the need to subject other employees to this mandate if they do not work on the contracts or work 100% remote?
Seems so straight forward that an EUA drug or vaccine cannot be mandated upon those who do not want it. I guess that is moot when the vaccines are no longer EUA but approved. No chance of this not happening, right? So they are just taking a parallel route with full authorization, knowing already the outcome.
It turns out that this client is working under a long-term Federal contract that dates back two years and won’t expire until 2025. So they are adding the COVID requirements for subcontractors only as their new Federal contracts are signed.
The mandate for Federal is stupid, but on legal grounds it is probably the most defensible. If you work under a Federal contract there are pages and pages of conditions you have to meet. Some of them make sense and others are ludicrous, but since the Federal government is a party to the contract they can establish the conditions as they wish. If the EPA wants to write a provision in their standard contract that says all consultants must wear a Chicago Cubs jersey to work, then it is probably a legally enforceable provision even if it’s utterly ridiculous.
What about employees not working on those federal contracts? Can you bind someone to abide by a contract they are not a party to?
Hi Everyone
Thanks for your answer.
Yes, I am objected the jab because of the aborted fetal cell issue.
I can see that they can put me in unpaid leave of absence until they can “resolve the issue” as CarlVehse pointed out.
The best is to continue to work remote but they want everyone back in the office. This is the perfect excuse. Before they can’t get everyone jabbed.
I think the leadership in these organizations have been given word to get everyone jabbed or they lose the federal funding.
Yes, it’s best to stop the tyranny right here. I am fighting alone in my organization. There are 30% unjabbed. I don’t know who they are.
Alot of jobs out there also require the jab as part of the job requirement. It’s illegal but everyone has drank the KoolAid. The jab does more harm than good.
What’s maddening about this is that employers have a lot of leverage to fight these mandates, but they have very little incentive to do so unless they are facing a mass exodus of critical employees who are difficult to replace.
I also think that with supply chain problems the Biden DOJ may not be stupid enough to ruffle Intel.

That will be the theme of my religious "accomodation" that I am granting myself.
Exodus 20
1 And God spake all these words, saying,
2 I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
Revelation 13:4
and they did bow before the dragon who did give authority to the beast, and they did bow before the beast, saying, ‘Who is like to the beast? who is able to wage war with it?’
If it wasn't hard, there wouldn't be an uprising.
If they simply allowed us to do what we wanted there would be no flashpoint.
They're going to create millions of people, world-wide, who are desperate poor and hungry who WILL pick up a weapon.
That's a beautiful speech. It's also hard to swallow when it comes time. This challenge we are facing is terrifying. It's also necessary. I'm sorry to say it, but this is what being free means.
If there will be bloodshed let it be on my watch so that my children will know peace.
Also my recommendation is for everyone who opposes this mandate to find a cheaper place to live. Downsize.
You can downsize everything else pretty easily but inexpensive living arrangements be it own or rent are getting harder and come November millions of people will be looking for it.
That contact trace app only works if most people use it and report when they have it.
@ Celerity
The problem is, alot of jobs require the jab. If I quit, I end up in the same boat. Before this madness started, I heard of people required to be jabbed even working remote.
The religious argument is unassailable but they get you with the “reasonable accomodation”. You can’t travel for your job...that’s going to hurt our organization. We get word in the back channel that if you don’t have 98% of your staff jabbed, we will reduce your federal funding.
Voting your way out of it is not going to work.
I’ll be watching closely to the class action lawsuits.
@ RBW in PA
Thanks for the link. My religious argument is solid..they can’t argue against that but they can with the “how can I, as a Plague Rat, not be a threat to people at work?”. There are already people at work who said Plague Rats like us should be denied Building Access.
Good heavens! I would write nothing. Anything you write is what they're going to use to justify firing you, and you should know by now that none of it works - even the "vaccine".
