Cancel China. Make an effort to buy products that are not made in China. I look for products made in Vietnam, Japan, Taiwan and all the other regional competitors of the CCP. Obviously, buy American first but only if not CCP-affiliated.

From my direct, personal experience there’s a compelling practical reason for canceling China—most of the products it produces for smaller designers or distributors are shoddy rip offs. The Chinese play it straight with the big guys like Apple but, if you buy something like an ordinary furniture product, you’ll usually get screwed with a badly designed or defectively manufactured piece of crap.

Actually Ho approached the US first and was rebuffed. Many authors have stated that 1919 was a lost “Wilsonian moment”, where the future Hồ Chí Minh could have adopted a pro-American and less radical position if only President Wilson had received him.

Ubuntu Touch was formally discontinued by them a few years back. It was rolled into the open source and is UB Ports. There are ports for a lot of phones, mostly older, and not all work 100%.
I am banking on the PinePhone. I have one and have been constantly updating it since it’s launch one year ago. There are currently a dozen linux builds for the phone, most in beta stage of development. It is not yet 100% functional. At the moment the Mobian (Debian Build), Manjaro Phosh and KDE and UB Ports (Ubuntu) are the most functional. They are still working on things like getting the device to wake from sleep, MMS Texting, and battery/OS Optimization. I predict that within 6 months it will be fully functional using linux. The Manjaro Linux with KDE is likely the best candidate as all KDE based apps should work with it.

Google is evil. They manipulate searches, search order, listing order, send conservative sites and non-woke information 90 or 100 listings down in searches, censor speech they do not like, demonitize people on youtube and monitor everything you do - where you go - what apps you use - and what you type on Chrome and android.
Conservatives that still use google are letting the enemy use the intimate details of their life be used to control them and selling the intimate details of their life to fund the enemy that wants to control them. Move off all google “products” into other things.
Stop using chrome and switch to Firefox. Chrome literally searches your computer and reports the contents to google as well as follows everything you do. After installing firefox, Immediately install ublock origin add-on which will y allow firefox and google to be run in containers and stop fingerprinting. Ublock also stops google analytics (on 80% of all websaites) from tagging your info and following you around the web. You can do this on android as well as your computer.
Switch from gmail to protonmail.com or tutanota so that google cannot mine your email for info and profit from it.
If you have to use facebook, only use it in Firefox where it is containerized and cannot interact with the rest of your computer and steal your info. Use the browser and never the app. The app is designed to find everything on your computer/device and send them info on it.
If your android is supported by e ( https://e.foundation/) , consider flashing OS onto your phone and then google cannot send your info from your android to it’s servers 3500 times per day as they track you.

As for apple, while they preach they are privacy focused, they are a walled garden and control access to the garden. If they choose to block the parler app (which they have not done yet) there is little recourse. Getting third party apps on apple is a pain and the phone has to be jailbroke.

I was just reading up on the pine phone earlier, still don’t think it will work for verizon yet though from I gather. If it did I would get one, And it does like the KDE build is the one shooting for longterm use and functionality.
