My parents were friends of the founder of NordicWare (”Bundt Pan” fame) in Minneapolis. My mom dated him in High School, and they remained life-long friends. (May they all RIP).
He and his brother fabricrated various things in the family garage after WWII. Hard work and a bit of luck created a great company. (The thing that sky-rocketed the company was some housewife winning the Pillsbury bake-off using the Bundt-pan to make her cake.)
It’s tragic that federal guard is needed but yes it certainly is so long as D mayors and governors are enabling or at least protecting the rioters and arsonists
