Make them walk 18 instead of riding for 9? I kid, but fat women in the military seems to be across the board. The guy down the thread who said it was probably baby weight might be onto something.
LOl, they actually changed the yearly test from some VO2 max 8 minute bike ride, to an actual PT test.
I recall it being push ups, sit ups, waist measurement, and a 1.5 mile run. Easy, but it is the Air Force.
I got the duty since I passed the PAST test and qual’d to Indoc for PJ’s.
I realized standing out doesn’t get your more money, but more duties.
A lot of military persons were pissed about him appearing in uniform.

A lot of Military & former Military were whizzed about Oliver North appearing in uniform.
Though I am sure somewhere, on some page, it may have been a requirement.
The ‘problem’ for the ‘troops’ with the Uniform was he worked basically in civvies and the ‘general consensus of opinion’ was he was wearing the uniform to garner sympathy.
OTOH, Col North’s uniform FIT and he was, in a sense, being persecuted.
Remember N Reagan came out against him even though North was (supposedly) covering for the Pres/Administration.
It’s more common that you think. Our education system has created a generation that are enemies of America. And many “serve” in uniform.

All I knew was my Summer tv was ruined. :)

It was made clear to us, over and over, that any political statement while in uniform was a serious violation of the UCMJ and at the least would lead to captain’s mast / court martial.
A lot of these sailors nowadays enlist for the educational benefits. A lot of female sailors get pregnant so they don’t have to do sea duty. That’s a BIG dodge in the navy...no sea duty AND paternity leave. Had business in a military building about 10 years ago and I coulda swore every female sailor I saw was knocked up.
Especially in uniform.
Hahahahahahaha! Perfect...in the aviation community, we refer to that (referring to a cat shot with nothing attached, and also as a person who doesn't pull their own weight) as

No muscles and a pudgy stomach and love handles.
He knows damned well he isn’t supposed to do that.

It pissed me off.
We had a bunch of active duty Marines who came to stand with us (they had been serving together over in Anbar Province and just returned)
I loved seeing these guys and was proud to have them stand with us. I bumped into them over in Arlington while I was visiting my dad's grave, and the bunch of them were visiting one of their buddies who was KIA.
No politics in uniform.
Period
At least an article 15 violation.
Dumb is more like it... hopefully she gets canned.
Not to mention she’s fat as hell.
