I watched three stomach-churning hours of it last night.
It was astonishing. I have seen some nasty stuff, but that took the cake.

I was getting pissed watching it, and was thinking very uncharitable and un-Christian thoughts about those dirtbags.
I knew about how these people operate, because I remember watching the Oliver North hearings back in the Eighties, but...I rarely ever watched them until a few years ago, when I was a big fan of Lord Monckton who seemed like the lone voice willing to go head to head with all the Leftist climate hysterics in the last decade and a half.
Congress (The Republicans) invited Lord Monckton to appear in front of their climate committee that had people like Inslee, Markley, and Blumenauer (he’s the bicycling turd who wears bow ties and covers the Portland, OR area) who were unbelievably rude.
I was embarrassed, as an American, to watch this. Lord Monckton is not a handsome man, and the committee Leftists openly ridiculed his looks, the spelling of his name, the pronunciation of his name, his credentials, his intellect, and his integrity, because he dared to speak out against global warming hysteria. They even spent time on ridiculing his openly ceremonial title of Viscount passed from his father, Inslee saying “He isn’t even a ‘real’ Lord”.
They could not refute his points because he was far smarter and better informed than all of them, so...they didn’t. They just spent their time insulting him instead of questioning him.
It said a lot about them.
And watching this session with Barr was even worse. How I despise all of them with a white hot burning passion.
As I posted on another thread, it was so ridiculous, it’s hardly worth the time to comment on it. That jerk Jeffries from NY was ONE of the worst! It would be difficult to pick just one for that title tho’. I can’t remember if it was him or Swalwell who asked if he believed President Trump would refuse to leave the WH if he loses the election in November. “EVERYONE HEARD HIM SAY IT”! Well, shucks, I sure missed that if he did! What gives them the right to speak for EVERYONE?
The President could say he’s going to send federal troops into NYC and NY State to haul the mayor and governor off to Guantanamo and they would ask if that is really his plan.
The president could play these fools and the MSM all day and night long..He does a great job of it. Not one stinkin’ one gives as much thought to the country and the citizen’s welfare in one year as the president does in one day!
Wow! I have noticed this is the MO of democrats in politics. They are not, for the most part knowledgeable, so they have to either make things up as they go along or be hateful to someone who has a lot more knowledge....or both. They always want to stand up and say that they want to have a conversation or a dialogue about such and such, but they really don’t. It is clear to me in the past few years that these people hate the citizens in this country that want the constitution upheld. For some reason the republicans in yhe house and senate still want to believe that they are their “friends across the aisle”...HA!
I didn’t watch nearly that much and I still couldn’t sleep...How on earth could you take three hours? There was only a handful of people when I turned it on - don’t remember the time. Nadler was chastising someone or everyone for not wearing a mask????? He mentioned Jim Jordan on the mask issue and it went right to Jordan who began to speak still without a mask. I love that they just ignore the creep..

Not that I totally disagree with your summation, but the feckless Republicans had control over both Houses and the Executive Office and did what they what is their life long MO ..... NOTHING.
I will vote against every Democrat on the ballot in November but my days of voting “for” Republicans is long passed.
