They want to use black people to bring down the Western capitalist system. For a lot of them, it isn’t about what they think of blacks, beyond their seeing them as political tools to be manipulated. They don’t want them to work hard, be nice, have the same standards applied to them as everyone else, or to succeed without the charity of the left, because blacks would never want political and societal revolt that way and then they’d be no use to the left.

"Work Hard. Be Nice." certainly has the outward appearance of promoting values that would make life better for every person who chose to espouse them. But to Barth, the idea of being nice and working hard offered too narrow of a future for children who might want to be lazy and mean in order to get what they want.

We’ve had custody of our 10-yo granddaughter since she was
6-mo. She is in an open-enrollment charter school that teaches, and enforces, honor and integrity. We volunteer at that school, and I’ve never seen a better bunch of kids.
GREAT staff and faculty, also. VERY dedicated. They’re allowed to do their jobs, TEACHING, and not indoctrinating.
You even see MAGA hats on some of the teachers in car line!
And, perhaps best of all, in the upper grades, two years of Western Civ is REQUIRED!
Our granddaughter was even asked to read her essay on George Washington Carver to the entire school at morning assembly, and we were invited to attend, also.
Now, about half of that essay consisted of his prayers, and looking out at the assembly, several teachers were wiping away tears.
I wish every child could have the opportunity to attend a school like that.
BTW, GWC was born about an hour from my house. There’s an amazing National Monument there. See it if you can!
