So sad. So very sad.
A garden gnome and I hate to denigrate the gnomes.
Herman Cain dies at 74 after monthlong fight with coronavirus
Cain, a former pizza business CEO and presidential candidate, died Thursday morning at an Atlanta-area hospital where he had been critically ill and placed on oxygen support for weeks, according to Newsmax.
He was admitted to the hospital on July 1, days after his diagnosis, which came 10 days after Cain had attended a rally for President Trump in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
We’re heartbroken, and the world is poorer: Herman Cain has gone to be with the Lord

Youre never ready for the kind of news we are grappling with this morning. But we have no choice but to seek and find Gods strength and comfort to deal with it.
Herman Cain our boss, our friend, like a father to so many of us has passed away. Hes entering the presence of the Savior hes served as an associate minister at Antioch Baptist Church in Atlanta for, and preparing for his reward.
Romans 2:6-7 says: God will repay each person according to what they have done. To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life. By that measure, we expect the boss is in for some kind of welcome, because all of us who knew him are well aware of how much good he did.
Let me deal with some of the particulars of the last few weeks. We knew when he was first hospitalized with COVID-19 that this was going to be a rough fight. He had trouble breathing and was taken to the hospital by ambulance. We all prayed that the initial meds they gave him would get his breathing back to normal, but it became clear pretty quickly that he was in for a battle.
We didnt release detailed updates on his condition to the public or to the media because neither his family nor we thought there was any reason for that. There were hopeful indicators, including a mere five days ago when doctors told us they thought he would eventually recover, although it wouldnt be quick. We were relieved to be told that, and passed on the news via Hermans social media. And yet we also felt real concern about the fact that he never quite seemed to get to the point where the doctors could advance him to the recovery phase.
He knows he can’t change the date himself. He’s just making people think about mail voting a d opening back up.
Ditto that.

I hope the trucking companies pay dearly.
I was just praying for him this morning. He was a cancer survivor with a weakened immune system, but things seemed positive on his twitter feed (run by his team) until today. Very sad indeed but he’s with the Lord now. God bless and comfort his family and many friends.
Maybe they robbed a bank.
Sad. He had just got promoted two weeks ago.
LOL
I’m tempted to wear one of those lettuce leaf masks to Walmart, but don’t have the guts.
Exactly.
He was on Varney a while ago. A woman tried to put him out of business because he has a Trump flag, but it backfired badly.
Yes, it was a good segment. I guess Trump thought so too.
“He was admitted to the hospital on July 1, days after his diagnosis, which came 10 days after Cain had attended a rally for President Trump in Tulsa, Oklahoma.”
So CNN will say President Trump killed Herman Cain?
So sad. I can still hear him say “999”. I heard him on the radio during 2016 election, said Trump asked him for campaign advice. He warned him that they will play dirty and make despicable personal accusations.
Lol
