I just saw our hummingbird at the feeder. Reminds me of this.
Years ago I was taking my daughter to work at Walmart. We walked outside and saw a hummingbird on the ground near the car. I picked it up and put in on our porch because I was worried a cat would get it.
When I came back I went to check on it. It was still out cold. I picked it up and gently rubbed its tiny chest. A few seconds later.....whoosh....off it went. I'll never forget that. It weighed almost nothing.
