You definitely have to be your own and loved ones’ health advocate. So many physicians are smug and dismissive, especially male doctors. I’m liking female doctors more and more.

I did read years ago about a guy who died from drinking carrot juice (vitamin A).
Seems he drank so much that he got cirrhosis of the liver and died.
WHY? I heard/read that vitamin C does NOTHING for COVID-19.

Roses are known by all I hope. Hips are the fruit ball formed at the end of the stem below the flower/sepals. Hips on bushes may not be widely available this time of year but I know a few places where they've gone wild and last year's hips may be still hanging on the bushes. Not sure of the C content in an overwintered hip but the flavor would have the tart flavor if C is present. Plus, pretty sure teas with rose hips are still plentiful.
Also look for teas with hibiscus as a top ingredient. Very high in C as well. Many peppers also have a high vit C content. A quick online search would give info on the content in specific peppers. I overwinter pepper trees and harvest year round.

It’s 1,500 milligrams 3-4 times a day.
Not sure of the purpose of that much. I was taught that the body could only absorbed 250 mg at a time and the rest was excreted in urine.
250mg tabs are hard to find. I have been chewing 500mg Vit C twice a day for the past 2 wks.
For many years, I’ve chewed one or 2 a day every time I feel the 1st signs of a sore throat or cold symptoms. It’s worked for me.

Interesting, thanks. Clicking through further on their site I see they synthesize their C from corn (granted, Euro, non-GMO). As if we don’t have enough corn here!
Exactly! For maximum effect take a little bit of C throughout the day. And in my book this way of taking C is the best defense for anyone worried about the corona virus.
