Lame Vanity: I joined FR 20 years ago today.

After lurking for a several months, I figured more folks would hear my responses if I joined and posted rather than shouting "Close your tags!" at the computer screen. So I joined under my first screen name, which is still there. (Don't tell Jim Thompson).

A couple years later I wanted my full name as my screen name and didn't realize that I could just ask Mr. Thompson to change my original screen name and let me keep my sign-on date, so I opened a new account in 2002 (don't tell him that, either).
So I don't know if I'm 20, 18, or 38. Math is hard. If one or both of us doesn't get zotted, maybe I'll know. May not matter in 11.16 years.
