Ex went through multiple law firms including one of the most powerful family attys in the area. My own atty was a sole practitioner and a Christian who simply refused to play ball with the system.

Fathers need to grow a set. I was in shock too, had friends abandon me, had no family in the area. The entire system was lined up for the other side at the start, and the Judge and other professionals involved were all women. By the end, they were on my side.

Lots of men simply don’t want to pay their atty in order to save their children, sorry to say. And being a single Dad limits one’s ability in many ways including rebuilding one’s personal life. They money ends up in the pocket of the ex, and the children turn their backs on Dad.

That movie you recommended is OK but tbh, having been through the system, some of the claims made by parties seems a tad outlandish. Why did the lady get arrested 3 times? Surely there was a ruling from the Court on this - what was it? And the lady complaining about the ad litem attorney sounds like sour grapes. Did she file for divorce, or did her husband? What did each party ask for? Were the requests reasonable and in the interests of the children? My female ad litem attorney, with 30 yrs practice, a moderate feminist no less, told me that most of the women she deals with are selfish and vindictive. Of course, not all are.

And plenty of men really are cheating or abusive husbands.

The difference is, society blames the man for cheating, but when the women cheat, society blames the man for her cheating. Men are bad, women get atta girls.
