Do you have a Sbarro’s near you. Another big, fat chain place, to be sure, but they do make pizza with broccoli on it, at least some of the time.

I like broccoli but I don’t like the taste of rabe, or rapini, a green vegetable similar to broccoli that sometimes appears in Italian cuisine. Nevertheless, if it’s on my plate, I’ll eat it because it’s full of good nutrients.

Bingo! Grew up hating celery, now I love it and there really is not any vegetable I do not like, just some I have not tried, like puntarelle.

My Mother was a very good vegetable cook. My Brother said it was because she used a lot of grease. I would love to be a ten year old kid again and feast off her great meals.

My favorite was what she called little white peas tho they were actually light green. Served with fried okra, a fried pork chop, a slice of tomato and cornbread tho it was what most people call corn pone.

Also sweet iced tea.

Yes Mother was born in the Florida Panhandle just a few hundred yards South of the Alabama line. Her father owned land in both states.

Never heard of them. But it’s easy to get a veggie pizza at the local supermarket or you can sue them by international law. The U.N. sends their lawyer in the mail, along with an angry letter. It’s not a vegan pizza, though. I would never eat one of those.

I find that, as I’ve gotten older, I can eat all vegetables plain without needing any dressing.

Brussels sprouts- tolerable
broccoli- very good.
Raw Cabbage- Good
Cooked Cabbage- not good.

Sauerkraut- One of the most god awful tasting things on the entire planet.
