JUNEAU, Alaska (AP) — Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin told a Christian broadcaster she learned her husband was seeking a divorce in an email from his attorney.
The revelation came in an interview released Tuesday with James Dobson, founder of the Family Talk Christian ministry. He said the interview had been conducted previously.
Palin said she received an email June 19 from the attorney, almost three months before Todd Palin filed for divorce on his birthday in September.
She described the filing that came shortly after their 31st wedding anniversary as devastating. “I thought I got shot,” she said.
Palin said they’re going through counseling and their marriage isn’t “over, over.” She said attorneys are “getting rich” off them.

This is so predictable; FR shows major sexism whenever something involving a woman comes up.
So prejudiced against women they even turn on rock-star Palin when the chips are down.
And as shown and admitted with another poster here, assume everyone is a man on FR (and I might add, white, etc).
Really, Ask Mike Flynn what happens when they come at you with everything. She needed the money for her personal legal bills. Blame McCain, they should have left her there for 2012 or 2016. Also, I also think the DNC took her out before she could become a problem for them. She was holding the same type of rallies as Trump and could have beat Obama but McCain was supposed to lose.
LOL. That wasn’t nice. Some might even call it deplorable.
Her private life seems to be something of a disaster.

Marriages are complicated. I always try to remind myself when hearing of others hardships. No winners in a divorce.

I think my ex (husband) was a bit concerned as he (and I) were both in the military.
Now, had I been thinking on my feet I should have had him brought up on charges.
One, he testified under oath they were not in a relationship.
He also sold a new truck I purchased. It wasn’t until years later I realized he forged my name on the paperwork agreeing to the sale of the truck.
I just decided that I did not want anything to do with him other than what I absolutely had to do in the eyes of the law.
It was my 2nd failed marriage. The first ex-husband was abusive and emptied my checking/savings accounts.
When I was dating my 3rd husband I told him I would date him, have sex and travel with him. I would not, however, ever fall in love with him.

It may have to do with Trig.
Sometimes when there is a disabled child in the mix, the mother tends to forget she’s a wife/mate/sexual partner.
If the husband cannot break through the thinking mode which the wife is in the marriage cannot make it.
She could truly think all is good and not see the issues.
If he’s already filed though, he’s already moved on, which is a shame. For both of them and the family.

I’ve learned what some women have done and it’s actually made me embarrassed.
All it takes from both the men and women are a few bad apples.
And for some reason, those few bad apples can cause almost the entire barrel to go bad.
I figure that’s the way to do it.....there comes a time when one makes up their mind and the ‘discussions’ are a done deal. Reasons really don’t matter why marriages break up...it takes only one to say I’m not doing this anymore....everyone has limits.
Divorce is a sad thing to behold...this is there private life lets just not speculate... unless the reason for the divorce is rooted in there politics its just not our business lets give them some respect and some privacy on this.
